The Maryland Bigfoot Digest
A Survey Of Creature Sightings In The Free State

Mark Opsasnick's ground breaking documentation of Bigfoot related phenomena in the state of Maryland is back in print thanks to Xlibris Publishing. The first of its kind, The Maryland Bigfoot Digest is a collection of statewide sightings that layed the ground work for state and regional based Bigfoot websites. The book contains information on 300 individual bigfoot encounters and serves as an important research document for bigfoot enthusiasts.

One of my favorite entries occurred on March 28, 1991 in Severn, Anne Arundel County and stems from Mark Opsasnick's personal correspondence with "Curt of Maryland". This entry reads: "At about 9PM he [Curt's friend] was monitoring the police frequency for either the Northern or Western District of the county and he heard the police responding to the call by a very upset man who claimed to have been accosted by an eight-foot tall, hairy thing in the woods. The police were treating it seriously as the man was very distraught. It is possible that one of the responding officers also caught a glimpse of something."

How many encounters have there been in your neck of the woods? Get the book and find out!
