It was in high school where I got my first good introduction to many
of the classics of American and English literature. There was no searching
the internet then writing a "cut and paste" report.
You read the book, wrote the report "longhand", and then hoped the good
sisters were satisfied. (they usually were not)
that is without the nuns or the book reports.

the depths of dispair. It can take you on fantastic adventures to far
distant lands. Reading can open the world of fantasy and magic and leave
you spell-bound, nothing is barred except by the limits of your imagination.
