Some of my interest are...Vintage Volkswagens, Habitat for Humanity, Home Construction, Woodworking, Welding, my girlfriend Elizabeth and our dog, Figi (Fee Gee, like the island).
I moved to Southern California for a corporate job with Kinko's. Once here I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. That worked out well because of my tool addiction. Since that time, I've spent time on their Board of Directors and also as the Executive Director.
After Habitat, I started my own home repair business. After two years working in the trade, I rejoined the corporate world. Now I have health benefits for Elizabeth and me and a 401k. I still work with a few customers to get my hands dirty.
