Who am I
My name is Martin Arraigada, I´m a Civil Engineer from University of Rosario, Argentina. At the moment I am living in Rosario and since August 2003 I´m working in TENSAR S.R.L. Concrete Prebuilt and Prestressed Systems. During my course of studies and after finishing I worked in many different places to gain some practical experience. Below, there is a short explanation about what I have done. You can also see my resume for further information.

M-UNIT INOCSA U.T.E. - Buenos Aires, Argentina
During September 2002 I worked for a Spanish company called INOCSA. This company is working on road maintenance together with many Argentinian provinces under a World Bank loan program. I trained a group of workers of the Buenos Aires province Road Agency to do the stocktaking of part of the road network of the province. I achieved a lot of experience as regards leading and motivating people in order to reach an objective.

> Traineeship at EMPA - Duebendorf, Switzerland
From June 2001 to June 2002 I worked at the
Structural Engineering Research Laboratory (116) from EMPA (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research). I was involved in research projects of structural dynamics and recycling materials. I participated in data acquisition (see pictures), analysis and elaboration of technical reports of dynamic and static tests in bridges. I was also actively involved in department presentations for government authorities and private companies (including a TV program). This was by far, my best human and work experience.

> Summer internship at TECHINT S.A. - Buenos Aires, Argentina
From January till April 2000 I was chosen among thousands of university students of all over the country to participate of this institutional program.
TECHINT is the biggest company of Argentina and has presence all over the world.

> Traineeship at IMAE - Rosario, Argentina
From June to January 1999 and from April 2000 to April 2001 I was working in the IMAE (Institute of Applied Mechanics and Structures)
Road Engineering Laboratory of the University of Rosario. As member of the Laboratory team, my work included  providing technical consulting in everything related to public works. The agreement between the Rosario University and the Rosario Town Hall (it is currently running) consists on  presenting a monthly report about the support activities the laboratory gives to companies and official departments participating in local public works.
