My name is Martha, and my husband, David and I have six children...four boys and two girls. I have had the joy of having twins, home birth, homeschooling. I think my favorite place to be....is in the kitchen. I love to cook, and when I am not cooking, I am re-organizing the cabinets!!

My husband, Mr. Handyman, is the most wonderful guy in the world. All I have to do is wish for something (it can be the most ridiculous thing in the world.....like the time I wanted this cabinet to hold jars of a certain size...but it also had to hold many other different sized jars. Well, the way I had "designed it", the thing would have just toppled over...but I had this vision, and he just took the idea that I had, and turned it into the most beautiful piece of furniture!) He is a very talented man, who is able to do practically anything. He can fix anything that is broken, and can build anything...it is wonderful to be married to a man like him...although, he is always busy, because everyone else knows how wonderful he is as well!

We have six of the most beautiful children in the whole world! I never imagined in my whole life I would have six children, but I can't imagine now, my life without them....although, I do have moments, (say, when they are banging on the bathroom door)....when I sometimes forget how sweet they can be!

We live in Florida right now. It is very.....tropical. (mom always said if you can't say something nice.....) Our dream is to move to Tennessee, where it is a little cooler. We recently went there on vacation, and rented a cabin for a week. It was the most glorious time....we didn't want to leave! The Hobbs Family is a very nice Christian family, and were perfect "hosts"! We can't wait to go back to see them. click here to visit Whisperwind Cabins We were hoping to move to Tennessee after recently selling our house, but things just didn't work out the way we had hoped, so we feel like it is God's plan for us to stay put here, at least for a little while longer. We promised our children that we were going to move to a farm, which we hope will be in Tennessee. My husband promised our children a farm, and he said they will get it! So until we get the real thing, you can share our "web farm"!

Well, we hope you liked your stay.(giggle) I am planning on adding a page with recipes, especially once a month recipes, And would like to have a page for herbal remedies and soap recipes. Ya'll come back, now, ya hear!
