Welcome to the home of Elm Creative Arts School!

Elm Creative Arts School is a Milwaukee Public School that integrates the arts, which includes: visual art, music, drama, dance, and creative writing into a curriculum which supports the Milwaukee Public Schools K-12 Teaching and Learning goals.

Through participation in Elm's educational program, students are academically and socially prepared for the future which will take them through the school experience and into the work force of the 21st century. Elm's mission is to develop an individual who can think critically and creatively, understand diversity, appreciate the arts, and contribute to society.

The goals of Elm Creative Arts School are to provide a fine arts program which will enhance and reinforce the academic curriculum, to encourage a child's natural desire to learn by providing enriching experiences in the arts, to provide opportunities for creative expression in the visual arts, music, dance, creative movement, drama, speech, and creative writing, to encourage positive relationships with others through group experiences in the creative arts, and to provide unique learning experiences for children interested in the arts to help them develop a positive self-image and self-discipline.
