1998  Canada Cup Winner with daughter, "Diamond Faux Pas"
         (Best Dam & Daughter)

Diamond" was a particular favorite of ours as we really admired the classiness of this doe.  She was an extremely long-bodied, level doe with a very wide, flat rump who moved with a great deal of style and grace.  Her well-attached udder, with no pocket, held up through her many lactations.  It took her a while to mature into the knock-out she was, but it was certainly worth the wait!  As a three-year old, she appraised E E E E  93.
In spite of her great looks, she always hated the show ring and all of the preparations that go along with a show. After winning the Eastern Canadian Nationals in November 1998, we retired her from the circuit.  "Diamond" was much happier just being the herd queen and being a tremendous brood doe for us.  She is the dam of two permanent champions,
"GCH Marshmeadow Diamond Faux Pas" and "GCH Marshmeadow F Jewel Incognito",
and she also has a permanent champion granddaughter,
"GCH Marshmeadow F Gaucherie Hussy".
"Diamond" was the hallmark of excellence and consistency here at Marshmeadow Farm.  She will be sorely missed, but her legacy lives on.
