About Our Chapter

The MOMS Club(R) of Marshfield, WI is a recognized chapter of the International MOMS Club and had its kick off at the end of January 2007.  Our MOMS Club has been featured on the Local Access Channel 10 news program "It's Happening", has had a booth at the Children's Festival in May 2007, and had an entry in the 2007 Dairyfest Parade.  It is an active club that is excited to get involved in our community.

The MOMS Club of Marshfield was founded by Karen McGreevey who had previoulsy been a MOMS Club member in Washington state prior to moving to Marshfield in October, 2006.  After attending play group activities in the area and talking with several stay-at-home moms, Karen found there to be a lot of interest in a group that offered more activities than just playgroups to keep both mom and child active and interested.

Our chapter provides support to at-home moms in Marshfield and the surrounding townships of Arpin, Auburndale, Chili, Hewitt, Spencer and Stratford.

Being an at-home mom typically means making a financial sacrifice. Because of this, MOMS Club dues are very low at only $25 per year.  However, dues can be waived if shown to cause financial hardship.

Karen is thrilled to be bringing the International MOMS Club to Marshfield and has enjoyed talking to all of the moms who have given their input and support of this club.
