Why
I Love My Cockatiel One day not long, long ago, when I awoke That's when I met
my nest was empty.
I thought this must be a bad dream.
I wanted to scream.
How could the day start so mean?
I pulled myself together,
went for a drive .
I passed a pet store along the way,
went inside.
I thought this place is so beautiful.
my newest addition to my nest.
He was in a cage with two other's.
I bent over, looked in.
He came running to me saying
take me home, take me home.
I told the clerk
I wanted to adopt the little sweety
who I call Tweety.
He is just a little guy with a lot of
LOVE
and a big heart that can
fill an empty nest!

TO: My Sweety Tweety
It's been almost two year's,
Since I brought you home,
My how you have grown,
You've brought soo much Joy,
And Happiness,
To what once was an Empty Nest!
Bless
this Nest, O Lord, I pray
Make it safe by night and day
Bless this nest so firm and stout
Keeping want and trouble out
Let Thy Peace' cover all
Always open to Joy and love
