Marla BB is back, lock up your men folk! Starting with about 30 seconds of kittenish purring accompanied by co-producer Mick Gaffney on acoustic guitar, you have just half a minute to get strapped in before the rocket takes off. Pumping out the primal scream that has become a Marla BB trademark, the all star band of Richard Crooks on drums, blues legend Bill Sims on guitar, Muzz Skillings (yes that Muzz Skillings) bass, and one of the top keyboard players in NYC, Mitch Margold, along with Mick Gaffney who has my vote as the scariest guitar player on this and the next three planets. Of the four songs, Marla wrote two with Mick, one with Bill, and pulled the old classic "You Don't Miss Your Water" out for a great treatment with Richie Cannata sitting in on sax.

Co-Producer & Lead Guitarist is Mick Gaffney who's played Madison Square Garden with Paul Simon & Reuben Blades, toured with STUFF, Billy Preston, The Mamas and The Papas, & fronted the China Club House Band with Chaka Kahn!
Also on Guitar is Bill Sims who received rave reviews recently from the New York Times, Village Voice, & New York Magazine for his role as a Bluesman in the Off-Broadway show "Deep Down". He awaits the 1999 release of a PBS Documentary on his life entitled "An American Love Story". Bill just got out of the studio with Marcus Miller who produced the soundtrack!
Keyboardist, Mitch Margold tours with Toots and The Maytals & Graham Parker. He's made records with legendary R&B man, Cornell Dupree & plays with Otis Rush & Bo Diddley!
Muzz Skillings, who was Bass player for the band, Living Colour, toured with The Rolling Stones, won a couple of Grammy's & MTV Awards, graced the cover of Bass Player Magazine, recorded with Elvis Costello & Robert Plant, & most of all now fronts his new band, Medicine Stick!
Drummer, Richard Crooks toured extensively with Dr. John, recorded "Blood On the Tracks" with Bob Dylan & "Capeman" with Paul Simon, as well as played many a studio session for Ahmet Ertegun, Phil Ramone & Jerry Wexler!
And on Saxophone is Richie Cannata who besides owning the Top 40 hit, Cove City Sound Studio where Celene Dion, Taylor Dayne & Whitney Houston record, he plays with Billy Joel, Elton John & The Beach Boys!
