· As the technology program coordinator I provide technical advice and assistance to the Wisconsin Division, as well as State and local agencies regarding technology transfer standards, procedures and techniques to apply, deploy and advance technologies to address operational problems and to improve then efficiency and effectiveness of transportation in the State.

· I develop and maintain an array of marketing contacts in the transportation community with interest in providing their constituencies with information on new technology.

· I act as a consultant to division program specialists, instructing and coaching concerning quality, technology transfer and marketing techniques for developing these skills within the staff.

· I serve as the quality program coordinator and incorporates technology transfer and quality components of the national strategic planning and annual performance planning initiatives into the Division's performance plan and monitors progress on initiatives and prepares annual reports in these areas. I am an active member of the AASHTO Standing Committee on Quality Partnering Subcommittee http://transportation.org/committee/partnering/index.htm.

· I provide technical and programmatic oversight, focusing on applicable Federal laws and regulations, including NEPA, GPRA, 23 and 24 CFR; familiar with relevant Wisconsin State laws and regulations; involved with FHWA grant administration and Request for Proposals.
