I bought my first RX7 a couple of years ago for $1,200 dollors from a used car dealer. The engine is a 12a with 135.000 OEM miles.The car was missing varius trim pieces and some electrical problems. all have been repaired. At first i bought a zenon front airdam. Mistake,there crap.So then i looked around and the best i could find was mariah. Design Energy is a great place and they know thier stuff about 1st and 2ed gen RX7's. I bought the mode four front airdam/bumper first then the side skirts. The rear spoiler is from a 2ed gen that i bolted on then fiber glassed in. The side skirts behind the rear wheels i made from scratch. I made from cardboard the molds and fiber glassed over the cardboard, then soak the pieces in water to remove the cardboard. I bought 4 panther 15x7 wheels. A bonez hi-flow cat. White face guages,
a glass moonroof,steering wheel from a 2ed gen SE,The seats and door panals are from a 1st gen -SE. I made from scratch front and rear strut brace's, firewall to strut tower braces and rear shock braces.Stainless steel braided hoses throught the engine compartment. Simpson 5 point harness,a NHRA approved battery cut-off switch, custom tail lights. This car was at sevenstock 6.

My second RX7 is a 1984 GSL-SE. I bought it from an ex-girl friends brother for $ 150.00 dollors. The car had been sitting for 6 years.
He said he had overheated the engine and steam was coming out of the tail pipe. I replaced all the cooling hoses, flushed the living shit out of the entire cooling system/engine and did the CRC block weld treatment.The entire fuel system had to be cleaned including the fuel tank and fuel pump had to be replaced. I had to rebuild both master cyls.too. I bought a glass moonroof for this car too. It's all stock and runs real good, the 13b RE-EGI has 140.000 OEM miles
