Over the past decade, Mark Anderson has become one of America's most outstanding pianists. His success as a performer and recording artist is testimony to his artistic achievement. Having been a prizewinner at such prestigious international competitions as the Leeds, Busoni, Tokyo, Kapell, and Dublin, Mr. Anderson now enjoys a list of rewarding engagements as soloist, recitalist and chamber musician and in piano duo with his wife, Georgian pianistTamriko Siprashvili. In addition to recording and concertizing, Mark and Tamriko teach privately at their home in Pleasanton, California. Other interests include outdoor activities of all kinds, computer-based audio and visual manipulation of original works, multimedia applications and his Viszla, Geza. Most importantly, Mark and Tamriko have an addition to the family, Nina Marie Anderson, born October 8 (Mark's birthday), 1999.
