Another Terry cousin has done a marvelous job presenting the Colonial New England Terry line, back to Samuel Terry of Enfield, Conn. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nyterry/ gives much information on the Oneida and Madison Co. New York branches of the family, if you are interested. 3-6-2003 |

During WW2, we lived on Forest Avenue in Lansing. I went to Maplewood Elementary School and Walter French Jr. High School before we moved to Florida in 1948.
Click here to go to my Ingham Co. Michigan page. Stop by for a look at Eaton Rapids High School (where my Mother attended in 1929) and reminisce with me about my Sunday visits to Kinneyville when I was a kid.
Information about my Michigan ancestors who served in the Civil War is here, and links to other Civil War sites. Click on the heart to view
February 17, 2003 : Since putting this web site up last June, the Surname database has nearly doubled from contacts with new "cousins" who have responded! Nice to meet each one of you, and thanks, everyone!

A click below will take you to my new site featuring my Vincent and Shimmel kinsman and allied families who came from Jefferson Co., New York to St. Joseph County, Michigan. Some were Pioneer settlers of Michigan. There are now over 700 names in this data base.
Site contains, old letters, tombstone photographs, biographies, of these Pioneer settlers of the "new territories" that opened before Michigan became a state in 1837.

....and finally, the Arbour side of my family tree! Doing research for this study produced many Canadian and Michigan cousins I never knew I had! And one is writing a book about the Arbour family, soon to be released for publication. We have a marvelous French- Canadian heritage!
