Our Happy Little School!!
So school is in. The summer session is over. But now we must spend 8 hours a day working in sweatshop like conditions for no reason at all. At least if we worked in a sweat shop there would be some happy people with shoes we had made, but all this is futile. I must leave you now, for none other than, homework.
So I guess thats what I'm going to talk to you about our school. The weirdness that is (dum dum dum) The Summer Session. Summer Session is an evil thing that takes in many poor over achievers every year. It bribes them to give up their summer in exchange for free time during the school year, and worst of all, the only place they can spend that free time during the year is at SCHOOL!!! GASP!!! Kirsten and Marilyn both choose to boycott this horrible monster in the best way possible, to sleep in every day and not even think about school for the entire summer except when warning others of the horrors of The Summer Session. Consider your self warned.
Its an elite prep school. But it has its totally sucky moments. Like when you're on honor roll, have a 3.5 GPA and still are in the bottem 1/4th of your class. Basically, too elite.
Another evil brought on by our school is the AP point, from which Kirsten and Marilyn both abstained until we started school in late August. It is a cruel practice punishing those who wish to obtain more knowlegde in a regular class and rewarding those who wish to break their backs with too much work in a "AP" class. These AP classes are no different than regualar classes except for one thing. If you are in one AP class, you will be sucked into more and more until your entire schedual is AP classes and you feel inadequite with a (drumroll please) 4.0.
Marilyn and Kirsten will make up a name for our school so that people won't stalk us. It is called THE DESTROYER. So our school is called THE DESTROYER!!
Finally, I (Marilyn) have put aside my text books and choosen to chill here with my crew. Our work load is immense, our spirits low, but at least we will all soon get into Ivy League colleges and do another 4 years of this bull shit. I wish it was summer....
