This is affirined to be the will and testament of John Myclecarane of KK Andreas who departed this life the 18th of March last being sound in mind and memory at making of the same.

ITEM: He left to his il]igitmate son John(by Isabel Kinread) a heifer of five years old another of two years old and his part of a heiffer of one years old. The other part being left to the said John by the testators wife and also a gray fledge b]anket and a course sheet all the sheep he had in the arry and the shaped cloaths which was left to himself by the testator Brother in law John Callister with a chest called the crooked ffoot all his as legacy devising his friend Wm Cor]et---- to take care of his said son that he should not deminish any part of the said legacy unto he came to lawfull years.

ITEM: He ]eft to his wifets illegitimate daughter Isable Gawn a fledge a blanket and a course sheet a little wheel and a small cheast as ]egacy likewise he left that what sheep he had in the close to be as they are and that the wool of them shold be for his chi]dren's cloathing.

LASTLY he nominated and appointed his son Edward his true and lawfull executor of all the rest of his goods movable and immovable whatsoever and appointed his brother in law Thomas Callister to have the tuition of his children and the tuition of his goods during his minority untill he comes to sixteen years also he desired John Cow]ey and Thos Cailister to be supervisors of his said executor and for their care he left them a heiffer of 4 years old equally betwixt them arid in case the said Thomas Callister should dye whilst his children were under age that then the said child was to go to John Cowley of the Close and if the affore said child dyes under age the said goods to decend to Thomas Callister and to tyhe deceased's brothers and sisters equally betwixt them and the said, Callister.

ITEM: He left Thos Callister sythe and to the witnesses of the will and English shilling a piece.

At a consistory Court held in KlcMichael May 31st 1733:

John Cowley one of the supervisors of the executors as appointed by the testator being dyed Thos Callister the other is according to the will of the decedent sworn in court in form of law who has the tuition of the child and his goods. And has given pledges Wm Cry of Jurby and John Corlett of the Craig.

At a Chapter Court at Lez:Ayre, 21st May 1734. Wm and Thos Mcylecarane together with Cath: the widow of Jon Cowley of the Close are sworn supervisors of Edward Mylecharane son and executor of JohnMcYlecarane in form of law.

March 20th 1745 Isabel Gawn came this day to the Registry and rec'd the thirty shillings legacy left unto her by her mother Margt Mcylcarane and does hereby acquit and discharge the executor of the said Margt Mcylcarane for ever for the same. She also acknowledges to be satisfied for the clothes and linnens. Before me Robt Radcliffe.

July 13th 1748 Edward McY]ecarane came this day to the Registry and acknowledged to have rec'd from James Cain husband of Jane Callister her guardian the sum of 15 pounds 16 d being the face amount of which was due unto him by the death of her ffather and mother a bill of motgage of twelve pounds being included in the said sum and does hereby acquit arid discharge the said Cain and executors for ever for the same

30th June 1735 Wm McYlcarane enters a claim against the executors of John McYlcarane and wife for the sum of one pound sixteen shillings and Sd 1-16-5 and craves the law.

Edom die -Thos McYlcarane enters a claim for lIb l6sh Sd. Eod die -WM McYlcarane enters a claim against the executor of John MeYlcarane the executor of the last will of Margt McYlcarane als Kinred for a heifer of three years old bequeathed unto him by the said Margaret and craves the law.

Annexed to the inventory of John McYlcarane -

July the 10th 1738 the widow of Thomas Callister promises to pay widow Cowley 3 shillings in full within three weeks for the fees by her laid out on account of the minor and is agreed upon by them that the shepherd is to have a third part of the sheep for the herding of them. Edward Moore.

Dec 19 1747 - The relict of Thomas Callister has paid 2 lbs 4 shillings in full for the above 3 shillings which is accepted of by John Cowley before me ---Edw:Moore.

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Margrett McYlcarane als Callister of KK Andreas who departed this life in or about the month of January last past. She was sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory and first comitted her soul to God and body to Christian burial.

SHE LEFT to Jon Mellycarane an illegitimate son of her husbands her part or share of a cow calf of a year old.

ITEM: To her sister Ellinor Callister a red quilted petticoat and a new serge black petticoat. Her ridding hood and a red handkerchief.

ITEM: To her sister Jan Callister a blew callico apron.

ITEM: To her sister in law Jane Callister and to Marjery Cry a stamped silk blanket between them.

ITEM: To her said daughter Isabel all the rest of her shaped cloaffis and two suites of her linnen.

ITEM: To her foresd son Edward an oak chest she lastly nominated and appointed her loving husband John McYlcarane sole executor of all the rest of her goods and affects whatsoever and the goods and child Edward to the care of her husband until the child came of age to the witnesses of this her will and English shilling each.

John MeYlcarane the husband executor being dead and having nominated his son Edward his sole executyor comitting the orphan to the tuition of John Callister. He the said Callister is sworn in court in form of law. He has the child and goods in his hands and has given pledges as in the will of (cant read)

At a Consistory Court held in KK Michael 11th Dec 1734:

John McYlcarane of KK Andrews having in his last will nominated Johon Cowley and Thos Callister supervisors of his son Edward McYlcarane and bequeathed unto them an heiffer of four years old equally betwixt them for their trouble during the childs minority - And the executor of the said John Cowley having surrendered his authority to his mother Cath:Cowley also Mcylcarane and to his uncles Thos and Wm MeYlcarane who are there upon sworn in form of law - ordered that Thos Cailister in whose hands the goods of the deceased are lodged - do within 14 days pay unto the said o\'erseers one half of the price of the said heiffer according to the valuation and otherwsie to be cvomittted in St Germans prison there to remain till he pay the same with all fees.
