"The
Fighter ", MJ! She's of course 2 months old also. A
smooth-haired dachshund with black and tan markings same
with the two males. She was born August 26, 2005 at 3:57
pm, only less than an hour after Scooby. She is the 3rd
of four litters. She has the shortest ears and lightest
in weight out of the four! Before we call her MJ or "Maochai
Junior" because Mom was also the thinest of her littermates,
she has also the shortest ears and MJ has Maochai's tan
markings exactly the same in color. Now that she is owned
by Jane Furio (my best friend), MJ just matched Jane's initials
very well.
MJ's
life, is the most exciting one. Her playmate is Scooby.
She explores her world from different places. She likes
to chew on all sorts of things, sniffs and basically a unpicky
eater! She's been to a mall recently (pets here in the Philippines
are not allowed in malls), ate meals at certain restaurants
with new owner, and she just went to Antique, Philippines
for a round-up tour with new family. Frankly, she's turned
out to be the luckiest of the four!
She's
always been a fighter. Although she's the smallest... she
does not quit a fight! She fights back especially to Max
who is the biggest. MJ as a newborn pup happens to be the
most agressive and very mature emotionally. She gets attach
to her littermates, Mom and us, but she however she is attach
to this family... it only took her a week to get attach
to Jane as well. She thinks Jane is Mom, so she lingers
to her every bedtime fro sleep, wants Jane to be around
her during meal time too! She automatically forgot that
she is not anymore here and she adjusted very quickly.
Sometimes
if we think about it... we miss her bad. The good thing
is, if we want to see her... We can! She's just a phonecall
away! And if I think about it, I don't regret handing her
to someone I knew for a very long time, and someone I know
who loves dogs and will take care of her likes she takes
care of her cousin's pets. In fact, MJ is lucky. She gets
to be herself, see new people and places, and most of all...
can have almost everything she wants!
