PM attends Sai Baba school function

KATHMANDU, July 14  : `Truth, religion, peace and love are the main
ingredients of life that draws man closer to god', and `human
service is god service' are examples of the sayings of Sai Baba.

"Teaching the real lessons of life to human beings, Sai Baba has
become the educator of the world (Jagat Guru)," said Prime Minister,
Surya Bahadur Thapa, while speaking at a special
programme, `Gurupurnima and Sai Adhyatma Shiksya Bal Bikas',
organised by Shri Satya Sai Kendra Kathmandu and Shri Sathya Sai
Kendra, Poorva Kathmandu.

Appreciating the various works done by Satya Sai Kendra, Thapa
emphasised that such should be valued.

The programme also showcased the classical Ganesh Dance, Dandiya
dance and other dances. At the same time, a documentary explaining
the activities of the centre was also screened. Among the various
works done by the centre, are organising health camps, blood
donation drives, free tuition for poor and deserving students,
clothes distributions and free ambulance service.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Thapa also gave away certificates of
appreciation to graduates of the immediate batch of Sathya Sai
School and their teachers also.

This, the second batch of SLC students secured 100 percent result
with 13 out of 16 students in the first division while the other
three passed in the second division.
