Man in Arizona
Like to workout, daily for at least two hours, usually more. Feels good (gives me some time to think), keeps me out of trouble.

I'm a good cook. Can be alot of fun finding something new to enjoy. When I eat out, my favorite is Sushi. I have made a few attempts at preparing Sushi. Definitely requires some special skills, so I leave Sushi for eating out.

Live in central Phoenix (been in AZ for about 8 years). Lived in Georgia previously, for about 10 years (moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech in '87).

Favorite gum Trident - White - Cool Rush, because of it's NEW! Intense Flavor.

Not into bars, but enjoy going for coffee at Starbucks at Park Central. Usually spend a few hours in the late afternoon (around 4PM or so) reading and enjoying some coffee (or 2).

There is nothing quite like getting high on coffee, reading in the park area outside with all of downtown Phoenix rising up around you.

When I'm reading a book to relax, it's almost always Sci-Fi. Currently reading Sailing Bright Eternity .

I do enjoy watching several TV shows, including Stargate SG-1 (Atlantis?), ST:Enterprise, Six Feet Under, South Park. Usually record everything on ReplayTV (DVR like the Tivo), have gotten use to not having to watch commercials.

Well the "bridge episode" for Stargate Atlantis was sorta so-so. The blond they had for the "girl in charge" was much better than the brunette that replaced her (don't recall the names/actresses at the moment). Who knows, maybe she'll get better as Atlantis developes. In the early episodes of ST:NG Captian Pickard was sorta weak, but he eventually got alot better. Maybe she'll grow on me?

Enjoy watching movies, use to enjoy going to see them in the movie theater with someone. Have not seen any movies at the theater in a while.

Usually am listening to "The Beat" on Sirrus (Sat. Radio) when I'm working from home, or maybe CNBC if it's a big news day. Definitely like Techno/Dance.

MUSIC I like:
Haiducii - Dragostea Din Tei

DJ Tiƫsto - "Adagio For Strings"

BOOKS read:

In The Ocean of Night (Galactic Center) by Gregory Benford
Finished reading Saturday, July 31, 2004 with my friend Scott at Starbuck's. Enjoyed reading, a bit dated, but excellent. The book was a bit confusing at times. At least the breeder sex parts were easy to skip over.

Across the Sea of Suns (Galactic Center) by Gregory Benford
Continues on were "The Ocean of Night" left off. Exposes a little more about the total "Galatic Culture". It's interesting reading this sci-fi series, see how the stories change as technology (real world) has progressed since these books were written. They span almost 20 years from beginning to end.

Great Sky River (Galactic Center) by Gregory Benford
Starts off on a new planet, different group of people very far into the future relative to the last book. Basically, human society had advanced very very far. Technology has become integrated into human society at a biological level. Yet, the underlying technology is poorly understood when the book begins (lost art).

Tides of Light (Galactic Center Series) by Gregory Benford
Continues where book #3 left off, moving from one planet to another and introducing a new species to bridge the gap between man and machine, but does not solve the machine problem.

Furious Gulf (Galactic Center Series) by Gregory Benford
Finished reading April 9th, 2005 at Starbuck's, there was some biker/car thing going on, Park Central was packed.
Continues where book #4 left off, moving from planet to the Galactic Center Expands to a great extent on the whole Family concept, which I truely enjoyed reading! In a way, the new species shows how the concept of family can flex to include anyone. The books just get better and better!

Sailing Bright Eternity (Galactic Center Series) by Gregory Benford
Continues literally where book #5 left off. Reading it now.

Gateway (Heechee Saga) by Frederik Pohl

If only I could figure out what went wrong last time. It was so good, and ended so bad, I tried so hard. Do not consider dating me. There are far too many weird aspects to my personality that grate.
