  Blush
gives you a natural flush. It makes you look refreshed, healthy and desirable.
Cream or gel blush (optional) goes under your powder, but powder blush is done last, so that you can make the strength of the overall effect balance the rest of the makeup. Ideally it should tone with lipstick (i.e. not the same as "match").
Using a medium-large soft brush, sweep blusher backwards from the apple of the cheeks, back in a very slight upward curve along the top jawbone to the hairline. Find the apple of your cheeks by smiling! Put a small amount on the forehead and point of the chin for balance. If you can see it on chin and forehead, you've used too much! This applies, even when more is needed on cheeks for photography and night-time.

Fake TanUntil recently this has been something of a taboo. But with a good product and good technique, a fake tan is definately healthier, and often just as good as a real tan. These tips are taken directly out of the November issue of The Australian Women's Weekly Magazine. There's no point in carefully tanning dead skin cells, so take the time to exfoliate your skin before you start. Use a face or body scrub and work it over the skin in a circular motion. Freshly exfoliated skin feels softer, makes the colour last longer and provides more even results.
Applying a self-tanner straight after a shower or bath is ideal because your skin is at its cleanest and smoothest. If your skin is naturally very dry, apply a moisturiser first, to help the tanner go on evenly. Some self-tanners quickly stain your palms. To prevent this happening, apply a barrier product such as petroleum jelly to your palms first. A quick scrub with a nailbrush as soon as you have finished should get rid of any remaining stains. Most modern self-tanners deliver a light golden colour to your skin. One application may not be enough to get the colour you want, so if you want bronzed skin for a special occasion, give yourself a could of days, so you can re-apply it if needed.Self-tanners usually take two to three hours to change the colour of your skin. To maintain the colour, you will need to re-apply the self-tanner twice a week.1. Using a scrub cream, exfoliate your skin to remove
the dead surface cells, then hop into the shower and
have a good wash to remove surface debris. Pat skin dry. 2. Apply your chosen fake tanner in long, even sweeps.
Be methodical and ensure that you have every area of
your skin thoroughly and evenly covered with the product.
3. In areas where the skin wrinkles and folds frequently,
such as knees, ankles and between the toes, lightly wipe
back the fake tanner with a dry tissue. 4. Give your hands a good scrub immediately after applying lotion. For stubborn products, scrub
your palms with soap and a soft nailbrush.
