A Note to the Reader

Knowledge that you gain reading Bhagavad Gita is said to be the supreme secret knowledge. In the eighteenth chapter Krishna instructs not to teach this to one who does not lead an austere life. By reading this with full devotion, Krishna is worshiped by the intellectual sacrifice. It is my sincere request to all readers to pray Lord Krishna as teacher (Guru) before reading Gita. Knowledge of Gita will be fully established only if you consider Krishna as the Supreme personality who is with out defects, who is full of auspicious qualities and is the controller of all.

"Devotion is of the form of intense love for God, which is greater than love for anything else, and which is based on full understanding of the greatness of God. Such devotion is the only path to liberation"

-Sri Madhvacharya
