| A HK version of Addam's Family. A 3 generation vampire family which include a grandfather who sleeps in a coffin, modern parents who sleep on a vertical bed, and 2 children whose age gaps are actually 1000 years apart though they both look to be in their early 20s. David Jen(Jimmy) who's the younger and shy son seems the most normal with little or no powers at all. He's a intern doctor in a hospital and is buddies with Delon (Dicky). One day, he met a pretty kitchen worker (Chu Yan) playing baseball and fell in love with her. Delon found out that David likes her and tried to help bring them together. During a hospital beauty contest, Delon was the host and Chu Yan won the contest. Delon invited David to place the crown on her and wanted him to kiss her in front of everyone but he was too shy to do so. But Chu Yan didn't know and thought that he looked down on her as a kitchen worker. David felt very miserable after that and so as to cheer him up, his family organised a party and told Delon to bring her there as a surprise for David. The party was a success and David and Chu Yan are finally together. David's sexy and wild sister got into a relationship and lost her virginity. For the vampires, when they lose their virginity, their fangs would show and this scared her boyfriend to death. Her family tried to dispose the body and put the body into their car and drove off the cliff into the sea. Delon had witnessed this and thought that David's family are all dead and went to inform him but he was greeted by them all unhurt and was terrified. David was afraid that the same thing may happen to Chu Yan and decided to break up with her but this made Chu Yan very hurt as he didn't want to tell her the reason. To stop Delon from reporting about the death, Mr Jen (Eric Tseng) and Old Mr Jen agreed to give whatever he request. From then on, he got to know David's sister and was attracted to her. After David's sister's fangs had appeared, Mrs Jen (Sandra Ng) began to worry about him. As she had a one night stand with a sailor she met at a pub in the past and was later pregnant with David, he may turn out to be a normal person. Mr Jen found out about this and had a tiff with her. He understands David's worries and went to look for Chu Yan to tell her the truth that they're all vampires. To be with David, Chu Yan was able to put aside her fears. To spite Mrs Jen and for David to show his true feelings, he told her to act as his mistress and brought her home. When Mr Jen announced that Chu Yan will be his mistress, Mrs Jen was very angry and threatened to leave him while David seems very helpless. He went to look for Chu Yan in her room but she refused to let her in. He tried to knocked the door down with a huge wooden cross but she opened the door at the same time and David accidentally hit her. She fell onto the bed injured and David was very anxious and let his feelings all out. When Mr and Mrs Jen were still quarrelling, David came down with Chu Yan, showing his fangs, everyone was overjoyed and Mr and Mrs Jen happily reconciled. BACK |
