| 19/9/2000 Many people didn't know that Jimmy has a very good-looking and intelligent younger brother. Yesterday, he appeared as a surprise mysterious guest during Jimmy's new album press conference. Currently, he is studying in National Taiwan University in his 3rd year. When the both of them stand together, they really look alike. His younger brother, Zhi Xin looks very identical to Jimmy when he smiles and was even mistaken as Jimmy when he was having a vacation in Thailand. Zhi Xin explained, "Recently, I went to Thailand for a tour and many fans mistaken me for my brother, requesting for an autograph and photos. Since usually, I'm able to imitate his signature, I hadn't been exposed. The funniest thing was when I was watching a transvetite performance, they also mistook me and accepted no charges for taking photos." He only realised how popular Jimmy was in Thailand after this experience and felt proud for him. He told Jimmy about it when he returned. Jimmy joked that his brother can help him 'service' his fans, but as Zhi Xin's classmates all know that Jimmy is his brother, and since 'BLD' is currently airing on TV, many female classmates called his home to ask about the show, taking the opportunity to chat with Jimmy. Jimmy don't only have a studious younger brother, he also has a studious elder brother too, who is currently doing his masters degree in New York. On comparison, Jimmy is the poorest with studies in the family, but also the one who makes the most money. He sighed that among his siblings, he's bad in studying, but Xia Yu Shun encouraged him, saying, "It's because he didn't want to study. Actually he's gifted too. Everytime, he's able to memorise his script within a short time. If he applies this into his studies, he'll definitely go far too." Having such good results in his entertainment career, even his pretty 16 year old sister is interested to follow his footpath. Being her elder brother, Jimmy neither encourage nor discourage, saying that it'll depend on her decision. Xiao Yu Shun said jokingly, "I'll discuss with Mr Lin to let me sign on with all his children." But when asked if Zhi Xin is also interested in joining his brother, he said, "Having one artiste in the family is enough, I don't have the interest to work in this line." Jimmy also added, "We had all discussed about it. Everyone of us will head towards our different areas, in future, we'll be able to help and support eachother with our own expertise." |
