| 3/12/1998 Tomorrow, Jimmy will be going to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for a check-up, and prepare for an operation to remove the metal support in his right foot. But so as to be able to cast his vote, he specially postphoned the date of his operation to the next day. He will participate in the votings on the 5th, then he will be admitted into the hospital for the operation. This mother's day, Jimmy was involved in a car accident during a car race, and injured his right foot. Currently, metal supports were inserted into his foot, and because of this, he wasn't able to do vigorous movements or dance, and even standing on the stage for too long will cause his foot to hurt. But being strong-headed, Jimmy wouldn't easily show others that he's in pain. Lately, his right foot had been recovering very well, thus he had arranged with his doctor to take an X-ray tomorrow and then decide when would the metal supports be removed. Jimmy expressed that he should be removing the metal supports very soon, since he had just ended his album promotions. Other than being involved in some mini concerts, there is no plans of filming or car racing at the moment. "Last year, I was told that I may be involved in an accident this year, and my luck would be bad. Unexpectedly, during the car race this year, I was really involved in an accident." He said that he's born in the year of the tiger and as his sign offended the God of Tai-sui this year, that's why either he's being involved in an accident, or his car would break down. Also there's many films which he should accept but would somehow lose the opportunity, and many commercials which were already on the verge of acceptance but in the end, left hanging with no result, utterly down in luck. This year, Jimmy felt most regretful for not being able to accept Yang Pei Pei's offer to act as Yang Guo in 'Shen Diao Xia Lu'. Because his acting contract was under the movie company, he wasn't able to accept the role and had to miss such a good opportunity. But next year, other than acting in JDSJ, a Thailand movie company had also invited him. Although things aren't going smoothly for Jimmy, his breakthrough new album released this year, 'Before Dawn Breaks' had topped the sales charts in many Singapore CD retails. He considered this the most satisfying achievement in this unlucky year of 1998. |
