| An army comedy about a incompetent military troop in camp. Lin Xiao Ying (Jimmy) who is from a rich and influential family was always looked up upon by his peers since he's rich. He's also one of the soldiers in the lousiest troops throughout the whole army however, they all enjoyed their life there as they are able to slack through their training and even smuggle good food in to enjoy. National Rugby player, Scar (Takeshi Kaneshiro) was also in the same troop but he is very anti-social and proud, and seems to look down on them. The military head seeing their poor progress decide to get a more capable captain (Tuo Zhong Hua) and this time, it's hell for all of them as he is very strict and would suddenly demand them to fall in in the middle of night. This was a comical sight as some wore their uniform inside out, or boots missing. For Xiao Ying, he wore the wrong helmet belonging to someone else which was too big for him. They were then punished to do push ups. Under the new captain, many of them were not able to take it and Xiao Ying called his mother asking her to help him get a transfer. The military competition was coming soon and the army had to do a ballot to decide which troops will be participating. Surprisingly, their troop got in and everyone had to train extra hard to perform well. Soon, Xiao Ying received the letter of transfer but after going through these hard times with everyone, he decided to stay on until the competition is over. Xiao Ying and Scar had also become good friends. At first, Scar was on bad terms with the captain, but after seeing his efforts spent on them, they begin to see a softer side of their captain and Scar was considered the most outstanding soldier as he performs very well on the obstacles courses. And finally, in the competition, they came up 6th and the commander was very pleased with everyone's performance. BACK |
