| Episode 6 Xiao Yu was cocky about his skill in throwing 3 sixes but Ma Zhong Guan embarrassed him for using childish tricks and not true skills. Shuangx2 mocked at him while he's practising. He tried gambling with a servant, betting on his clothes and couldn't believe that he even lost to her. That night, Xiao Yu and Wu Ji started investigating and were searching through a room, accidentally dropped a brush holder, resulting to the guards alert and went after them. They seeked help from a physician, Chang Chun and managed to get away, befriending him in the process. When they were heading back, their fellow disciple came running towards them, kept shouting 'ghostly fire!', he claims to have been into the forbidden mountains and saw a fireball flew past. Xiao Yu started sneezing and the man suddenly burst into flames and burnt to death. Rumours were spreading that it's caused by the ghosts in the forbidden mountain. While they were having lessons, Xiao Yu offended Xue Yu who began attacking him, Shuangx2 tried to defend him but was hit and fell into his arms. She warned Xue Yu not to create trouble for him. At the same time, Yu Wen Pu arranged a ritual to rid the ghosts so as to give the disciples a peace of mind after what happened the previous night. But he stressed that there's absolutely no ghost. Some were puzzled about why he arranged this ritual if he doesn't believe in it. At the same time, Xiao Yu suspect that Xiao Jiang was responsible for the death of their fellow disciple, as he has a weird expression in his eyes, and was not at all affected by the death of this disciple who lives just next to his room. They followed Xiao Jiang and he found out about it. They got into a fight but lost to Wu Ji when he felt a sudden pain in his chest. He asked why Wu Ji didn't kill him, he replied that he can't find a reason to do so. Finally, he left and said that he didn't kill their fellow disciple. Xiao Yu was wondering why Xiao Jiang seem to only target Wu Ji instead of the both of them. Xue Yu released a poisoned scorpion onto Xiao Yu's bed. He was bitten and Wu Ji brought him to Chang Chun but he wasn't around and tried finding the antidote, managing to save him. Chang Chun finally saw Ming Yue face to face whom he has been in love with and was overjoyed. She warned him not to follow her again or she'll kill him. Chang Chun returned and they were wondering who wanted to kill Xiao Yu. They asked why Chang Chun behaved differently, he told them about the legendary Yan Hao Tian and Ming Yue, however, Yan Hao Tian has died and Ming Yue was nowhere to be found, but she has appeared again because of a rumour that Yan Hao Tian was around and her motive was to look for him, however it happened that the swordsman only resembles him. They asked Chang Chun what has it got to do with him, but he wouldn't say more. They met Xue Yu while going back to their room. She wanted to kill Xiao Yu, but was stopped by Xiao Jiang. She said that anyone who offend her must die and asked why he seemed concerned about Xiao Yu, he warned her that they're now on an important mission, and don't want any unneccessary trouble. The swordsman resembling Yan Hao Tian faces trouble with the Tian Men people and Ming Yue came to his defence....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 7 Ming Yue healed his injuries but he attacked her when she wasn't paying attention. He was actually under Tian Men, and it's their plot of using him imposing as Yan Hao Tian to get rid of her. Eventually, the imposter was killed and she was seriously injured. Fortunately, Chang Chun was around and managed to save her. Xiao Yu saw traces of blood leading to Ming Yue's residence but decided not to be a busybody. He saw Ziyan along the streets while he was buying earrings for Dou dou, seeing that she's heading toward the house, he followed her fearing that she'll be in trouble. Ziyan found the other maids killed and she was attacked by the Tian Men people. Xiao Yu managed to save her in time. She has dislocated her shoulder and fractured her arm, but Chang Chun was no around and Xiao Yu had to help her. To fix her shoulder, he had undress her but she would rather die than to let him touch. Xiao Yu persuaded her listen or leave her to die. Finally, she agreed to let him treat if he'll blow off all the lights and not look. Left with no choice, he agreed. Chang Chun tried to heal Ming Yue's injuries and took great care of her. Ziyan kept asking Wu Ji about Ming Yue's whereabouts and was very worried. Xiao Yu tried to comfort her, telling her to concentrate on recovering her injuries and need not worry about her mistress as she's highly skilled. However, as she occupies his room, she doesn't allow him to stay in there and he wasn't happy about it. Xue Yu tried to harm Xiao Yu again and Xiao Jiang warned her that they're suppose to carry out their mission for Tian Men, not to cause trouble, leaking out their identity. Ming Yue wanted to leave, but as she hasn't fully heal, Chang Chun refused to let her go, threatening to kill himself with a dagger if she leaves. From the reflection of the dagger, she realised that she has white hair and turning old, Chang Chun assure her that he has the treatment to make her look young again. Ziyan was waiting impatiently when Ma Zhong Guan came looking for them, fortunately, they came back in time and he didn't find out about Ziyan. She was angry with Xiao Yu for leaving her in the lurch. Xiao Yu brought her breakfast the next morning and she requested him for a comb..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 8 Xiao Yu had brought her the comb. The next morning, he was awaken with the sight of her combing her hair and was mesmerised, ending up being late. That day, Yu Wen Pu give them the task of sending invitations to the various gambling house for the grand gathering which will be held in 3 months time. Xiao Yu, Wu Ji and Xiao Jiang were in a group and Shuangx2 requested to go along. The owner of the gambling house refused to accept their invitation and they had a gamble with him, agreeing to accept the invitation if he loses. They succeeded their task and Xiao Yu suggested to have fun first before going back. However, they met with trouble from the 5 villains sent by Duan Tian Bao and managed to escape. They seek refuge in an abandoned temple and were prepared that those villians would come back for them again. That night, Xiao Jiang and Wu Ji had a chat and realised that Wu Ji was a kind hearted person and asked what he will do if he finds out that his father is evil and kills innocent. Wu Ji replied that he wasn't sure as his father was just a simple woodcutter and perhaps he would stop him. Shuangx2 looked for Wu Ji and had a long chat about themselves. Xiao Yu told Xiao Jiang that though they're not good friends, he felt a very close feeling towards him, like brothers. As they had expected, the villains came back again. Being well prepared, they managed to kill them except one who managed to escape. They were on their way back, but Wu Ji and Xiao Jiang had something on, so Xiao Yu and Shuangx2 will return themselves. The escaped villain caught them by surprise, injured Xiao Yu. Suddenly Xiao Jiang and Wu Ji appeared and surrounded him. Xiao Yu wasn't hurt as he had an 'arrow-proof' protector on. It was a plot they prepared as they expected that he would strike them again. Xiao Yu found a ball-like ornament on the dead villain and Shuangx2 recognised it as Tian Bao's family treasure. They caught Tian Bao and brought him to Yu Wen Pu to seek justice. However, Yu Wen Pu defended him, saying that he had assigned Tian Bao to do that so as to test their response in handling unexpected troubles and was satisfied with their performance. In private, Yu Wen Pu said that he didn't punish him this time as he's his most valued disciple and not to disappoint him again. Xiao Yu, Wu Ji and Xiao Jiang had became good friends. Xiao Yu went to his room and found Ziyan missing and found her at her fellow maids tombs.She told him they're were all orphans and they're like sisters to her, wanting to revenge for them. Xiao Yu advised her against it and should look for news about Ming Yue first. When they returned, Shuangx2 came and saw them....... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 9 She almost caught Ziyan and Xiao Yu tried to cover up for her, making her act as a drunk Wu Ji. Shuangx2 believed at first, then realised there's no smell of wine on him and went to his room to check, finding Ziyan there. She agreed not to tell her father if he make her leave immediately after he pleaded with her, however, Ziyan was disgusted that he's such a weakling. Just then, there was an earthquake and both of them lost their balance with Xiao Yu falling on top of her, accidentally kissed her. Both were stunned and Xiao Yu immediately got up, spouted some nonsense and ran out awkwardly. Ming Yue overexerted herself, fortunately, Chang Chun was around. He went out to look for some herbs for her and almost fell from a cliff but Ming Yue came in time and saved him. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji couldn't get to sleep and looked for Xiao Jiang for a drink. A man kept shouting for help and suddenly burst into flames, died in the end. This is the 2nd case and many believed it's done by the ghosts. Wu Ji said that the man maybe a woodcutter as he's not one of the disciples. Xiao Yu felt that there's a secret behind all these. There's only 2 ways to enter the forbidden mountain, one is through the main opening but it's heavily guarded, the other way is to climb several steep mountains, but it's impossible for an ordinary woodcutter, and decided to investigate the body. They found a black bag but don't know its use. They found numerous little scars on the deceased hands and are different compared to Wu Ji who's also a woodcutter, meaning his work has nothing to do with wood cutting. Shuangx2 wanted to know what they've found out and wanted to follow them into the forbidden mountain. They used Shuangx2 to distract the guards and sneaked in. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji saw the flying fireball and headless ghosts. He accidentally sneezed, resulting to the guards alert. Xiao Yu hid in a cubicle, fortunately, Ziyan came to his aid before he was found out. Wu Ji hid in Shuangx2's room while she was having a bath, but he had no choice but to silence her and hid under the water. Wu Ji had masked himself and Shuangx2 thought it was Xiao Yu as he had dropped his handkerchief.Ma Zhong Guan told Yu Wen Pu about the 2 trespassers and recognised one of them as Xiao Yu. He wanted Xiao Yu to be got rid of so as not to affect the grand meeting. Shuangx2 confronted Xiao Yu about the previous night, but he thought she was referring to them using her to distract the guards.He was filled with anger but Wu Ji persuaded him to apologise to her.Xiao Yu went to apologised and agreed to take full responsibility, leading to her misunderstanding..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 10 Xiao Yu was irritated with Wu Ji who keeps asking him about Shuangx2. When he was out with Ziyan, a masked man attacked him but another masked man (Xiao Jiang) went to his defence. They know that the attacker was sent by Yu Wen Pu but don't know who was the one who saved them. Xiao Yu had in mind what to do and went to plead Yu Wen Pu in front of everyone for protection, getting his assurance that he would protect Xiao Yu from harm in Bu Er Zhuang. Yu Wen Pu was still determine to get rid of him, preventing him from spoiling his plans. Xiao Yu had guessed that Xiao Jiang was the one who saved him. Ming Yue was doubtful as Chang Chun's youthful treatment doesn't seem to work, he said he'll try finding other medicine. She was furious when she found him hunting for butterflies. She went out and questioned the innkeeper for news about her maids, but her domineering attitude frighten him, Chang Chun asked him instead and found that 4 maids were dead but 2 were still alive. Xiao Yu brought Ziyan out in the city and she saw the 'flower whirlwind' which Ming Yue used to summon them. Finally mistress and maid reuniting. Along the way, they found a seriously injured Dongwei. They seek refuge in a nunnery and Chang Chun tried to treat her. Returning to Bu Er Zhuang, Xiao Yu kept pestering Chang chun about him and Ming Yue but he refused to say a word. Shuangx2 approach Xiao Yu asking him to have supper, he suggested going out and his treat since he had agreed to take full responsibility, apologised that they had made used of her, telling her not to mind since they're like buddies. Shuangx2 was upset that he treats her only like a buddy and this is his way of taking responsibility. Ming Yue and Ziyan were observing a rice trading house which is one of the quarters of Tian Men and found that all the workers there are highly skilled pugilists in disguise. She demanded them to tell her who is the leader but they poisoned themselves. Chang Chun, Wu Ji and Xiao Yu arrived and the 5 of them went into the trading house to look for clues. Xiao Yu kept sneezing non-stop. Chang Chun found 2 balls which are powerful, highly flammable explosives used by Tianmen. They found a date stated 8th of 8th month in a book which is the day the grand meeting would be held. They come across lots of butterflies, Chang Chun was busy catching them and was teased. He finally caught a rare butterfly and told Ziyan to look after it well. A theft has happened in Bu Er Zhuang and a search was carried out. The missing gold was found in Xiao Yu's room and was arrested. Xiao Yu told Wu Ji that they were framed, no use pleading and he threaten to blow up the matter if Yu Wen Pu dare do anything to them and Shuangx2 pleaded her father to let them leave, treat that nothing has happen..... |
