| Episode 1 A swordsman named Ba Dao appeared in the territory of a sect group to challenge them and engaged in an exciting fight. The whole sect was eventually destroyed under his sword. Jiang Fei Yu and Feng Wu Que were spending time with their wives and babies when a messenger arrived asking for their help to eliminate Ba Dao. With the encouragement from their wives, they agreed and set off. They met Ba Dao and the swords crossed. However, they could sense that he didn't have the motive of killing them. Just then, the evil Yue Long Xuan arrived. He had taken Ba Dao family hostage, threatening him to kill the legendary siblings in exchange for his family members safety. But he didn't keep his word and had killed them. Filled with anger, Ba Dao attacked him but perished under him. The legendary siblings tried to take him under control and engaged into an exciting and thrilling swordfight. At the same time, Yue had sent his men to attack their wives and children. They tried to escape from their pursue but ended up at the edge of a cliff. Left without a choice, they jumped down the cliff. Fei Yu and Wu Que were seriously injured, but they didn't managed to save them, and with their last breathe, saw their wives and child falling from the cliff. 20 yrs later.... Xiao Yu was enjoying himself in the town, teasing others which later got himself into trouble. A bully wanted to use him to help cheat in a gamble and brought him to a gambling house. The bully was found to be cheating. The patron wanted him to be punished by chopping off his hand. Then did he know that the patron was actually the boss of the gambling house, Yu Lao Da and Xiao Yu was his son. The bully took Xiao Yu as hostage but in fact, he was in even serious trouble, cos Xiao Yu hates people who points a knife at his neck and both father and son eventually got rid of him. In the end, they had a good laugh together. In the woods, Wu Ji was among the woodcutters, chopping woods for a living. He leads a simple life with his parents. His parents had intended to celebrate his 20th birthday the next day. At night, Wu Ji went into the woods to practise his sword skills..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 2 Dou dou was in a marketplace and was almost cheated by a fishmonger. Fortunately she had realised it and had a disagreement with him. Xiao Yu arrived and with his intelligent tactics, cheated the fishmonger without his realisation. Back home, Yu Lao Da kept hinting him that one would be lucky to have Dou dou as his wife and without Xiao Yu's agreement, had agreed with Dou dou that he would accompany her to the nearby woods to have fun. Wu Ji was practising and remembered that in the past while he was on his way home, he found something left behind and waited for a long time for the owner to return but to no avail. He checked it and found that it was a sword and a manual, and began practising it. While Wu Ji was practising that night, Yue Long Xuan was watching him, and a masked man (Xiao Jiang) was secretly following him. At Ming Yue Gong, members from the evil sect, Tian Men, arrived and created trouble, but they were easily defeated by the highly skilled and cold-hearted Ming Yue, owner of Ming Yue Gong palace. Ming Yue ordered her 2 closest maids, Ziyan and Dongwei that she's going out of Ming Yue Gong the next day. Xiao Yu came face to face with Wu Ji who had came to deliver firewood. Wu Ji noticed the jade pendant on Xiao Yu and also felt some kind of connection with each other. Xiao Yu accidentally dropped his jade pendant when he was playing around with Doudou and it was picked up by Wu Ji's parents who were passing by. Wu Ji found his home destroyed and his parents killed. He found the jade pendant on his dead father and remembered seeing it on Xiao Yu, thinking he's the murderer and was determined to seek revenge. Xiao Yu realised his jade pendant missing but didn't thought much about it. He saw Ziyan for the 1st time and was attracted by her. Ziyan had came to booked the whole inn for her mistress lodgings. Xiao Yu approached her, trying to befriend her and told her some 'funny' jokes, resulting to her detest. She wanted to kill him, chasing after him in the streets, fortunately, Xiao Yu managed to escape from her clutches. Ming Yue had arrived in town and when guarding the room, both maids didn't understand why she wanted to leave the palace which she had never stepped out for years. Xiao Yu was chasing for debts from a gambler who tried to gain his sympathy. Xiao Yu saw through his act, and managed to get the money cunningly from him when the gambler thought that he had succeeded in tricking Xiao Yu instead. Just then, Wu Ji confronted Xiao Yu, started attacking him. Xiao Yu clarified that he's innocent, but Wu Ji wouldn't believe him. He would only let him go when Xiao Yu agreed to help him find the murderer within 3 months. Xiao Yu tried to trick him and escape, but Wu Ji still manage to catch up with him and followed him home. At home, Yu Lao Da thought that Wu Ji was his friend and showed him great hospitality. He thought they were pulling his leg when Xiao Yu said that Wu Ji wants to kill him and Wu Ji said that Xiao Yu killed his parents..... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 3 Xiao Yu was still stuck with Wu Ji who managed to win the fight between Xiao Yu's guards and he wouldn't let Xiao Yu out of his sight. Xiao Yu was irritated with him, until Dou dou came. While he was telling her a joke, Dou dou said that it wasn't funny at all and he was hurt, blaming Wu Ji for affecting him. The next day, Xiao Yu met Ziyan and begin irritating her again. She was going to attack him, fortunately, Wu Ji came to his aid. Xiao Yu asked him how his parents died, and Wu Ji told him the whole happening. But he realised that they weren't burnt to death but killed by a secret weapon. Xiao Yu couldn't understand why they were killed when they're just simple and poor villagers and felt very suspicious, deciding to go to his house to investigate further. Xiao Yu found a golden leaf, which he believed was the weapon which killed them. When they went to a teahouse, they found everyone killed. They saw a group of monks fighting with the Tian Men people, then a swordsman, Yan Hao Tian came to the victims aid. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji were filled with admiration for him. Lao Da was cursing Wu Ji thinking that Xiao Yu was killed by him, and was relieved when Xiao Yu appeared who teased Lao Da for being so exaggerated. Lao Da said that Dou dou was even exaggerated. Xiao Yu went to look for her at the temple and found her praying wholeheartedly for his safety. Dou dou was filled with happiness to see him and almost fell, fortunately, Xiao Yu managed to grab her, she blamed him for not telling her that he's safe, making her worried. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji were chatting at the Hero's Memorial and Ming Yue came at the same time to pay her respect to Fei Yu and Wu Que, when Xiao Yu offended her and she taught them a lesson. Ming Yue brought her two maid to witness the strength of a martial skill of the legendary swordsman, Yan Hao Tian, and was reminded of her past with him. She had arranged to meet him 1 year later to challenge again, but she later found him seriously injured the next year, unable to fulfill the challenge, and tried to heal him. When they met again, he suggested to have a chat instead of challenging their skill, and Ming Zhu eventually realised that he was blinded by the Tian Men sect. At the gambling house, Duan Tian Bao, disciple of the largest gambling house, Bu Er Zhuang, wanted to gamble with Yu Lao Da...... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 4 Tian Bao managed to see through Yu Lao Da's skills and won the bet. Shuang shuang, daughter of Bu Er Shuang's owner came and wanted Yu Lao Da to agree to merge with all the gambling houses to fight against Tian Men and will be highly rewarded if he agrees. Xiao Yu is against the merging but knowing that they'll be well rewarded, changed his mind. They realised that the gold offered was the same as the weapon they found in Wu Ji's home. Wu Ji was heading for Bu Er Zhuang to seek revenge but Xiao Yu stopped him as he would be of no match if he just charge in there and agreed to accompany him there. Lao Da was seriously against him going as it's very dangerous. Xiao Yu was stubborn and got a slap from Lao Da for the 1st time in his life and was humiliated in front of everyone. During dinner, Xiao Yu and Lao Da were still having cold war with each other. Wu Ji managed to resolve their disagreement. Xiao Yu wouldn't given in yet and wanted to challenge Lao Da in drinking. If Lao Da gets drunk first, he must let him do what he wants to. At his bedside, Xiao Yu told him to keep to his word and bid him goodbye, telling him to take care and not to worry about him. Xiao Yu finally caught up with Wu Ji, and Lao Da silently bid him goodbye by the riverbank. Dou dou managed to find them and wanted to tag along but they eventually got away from her, telling her not to worry and take care of Lao Da for him. Being alone, she convinced herself that Xiao Yu is not suitable to be enclosed in this little town and should pursue his dreams in the city. She felt that she's not a suitable person for him as they belong to different worlds. Xiao Yu suddenly felt like missing Dou dou, since they've grown up together and there's some feelings for her. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji were exploring the city and headed for Bu Er Zhuang. However, they can't enter until they produce a recommendation letter. While cracking their head over the letter, they met a street lad who claims to be able to get the letter for them for a fee. Left with no other way, they agreed and were told to wait outside the back door of Bu Er Zhuang for the maid to come out and produce them the letter. Xiao Yu went to wait at the back door, but no one came, until Shuang Shuang heard sounds of a cat made by Xiao Yu and went out for a look. He mistook her for the maid and kept asking her for the 'thing', leading to her misunderstanding. While fighting, she slipped on a banana skin and accidentally kissed Xiao Yu when she fell on him. They accused each other taking advantage of one another. He clarified that he only wanted the recommendation letter. Failing to get the letter, they met a man offering the letter for a gamble but Xiao Yu lost the final round to a mysterious man...... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 5 They followed the man and wanted the letter. It was a plot arrange by Shuang shuang to let them have the letter. They met the mysterious man again, who was actually the house keeper, Ma Zhu Guan when they went into Bu Er Zhuang. And they have to pass a series of test to be accepted as disciples of Bu Er Zhuang. When the results were out, Wu Ji and Xiao Yu were selected but Xiao Yu was only the substitute and wasn't happy about it. Shuang shuang secretly arranged for one of selected ones to be injured and Xiao Yu eventually took over his place, to the displeasure of Tian Bao. They were happy to meet Yan Hao Tian again and were chatting about him. Ziyan overheard their conversation and wanted to know his whereabouts. She fell into Xiao Yu's trap when he tricked her his whereabouts and wanted to know why she's looking for him, she said that her mistress wants to look for him. Ziyan told Ming Yue that Yan Hao Tian was seen in the city and she was puzzled why Hao Tian was still alive when she saw him died with her own eyes. Bu Er Zhuang owner, Yu Wen Pu annouced that he would select two best disciples to take part in a competition 3 months later. Xiao Yu and Wu Ji were discussing about how to carry out their investigation and suddenly heard someone outside, fortunately, it's one of their fellow disciples, Yuan Qiu and asked him what he knows about Bu Er Zhuang. They were told that in the forbidden mountains behind is like a ghostly land after a big fire, with ghostly fire flying past and ghostly sound of chains believed to imprison people who were kill by the fire, and no one dares to step in there. They lure Yuan Qiu near the forbidden mountains to distract the guards while they sneaked in. While exploring the place, Xiao Yu sensed a weird smell and kept sneezing non-stop, then they met Xiao Jiang in there who tried to kill Wu Ji. They were puzzled why Xiao Jiang were after them. When Xiao Yu came out of the toilet, he was knocked out and stripped half naked in Shuang Shuang's room. Duan Tian Bao had wanted to frame him out of jealousy but Xiao Yu manage escape from trouble.... |
