Don't worry, this is just a scene of Jimmy's new serial 'BLD'. after the director shouted "Cut!", Jimmy immediately jumped up, showing his trademark smile on his face. Papi: Your fans are very concern about your album this year. When will it be release? Jimmy: Immediately preparing for its release. It will include the theme song of 'BLD'. The name of the album is not decided yet. Tomorrow, I'm going back to Taiwan for about 5 to 6 days, to discuss some decisions about the new album, including the name of the album, sequence of songs, etc, and 4 commercials to shoot. Papi: From the 3 serials, which is your favourite? Jimmy: I feel that these 3 serials are different, it's 3 different kinds of feeling. Although Chenxiang of 'BLD' is young, he is very sensible as he's brought up in a very poor family, the environment is very bad and his father doesn't care about him. He can only depend on himself, picking unwanted stuffs, doing odd jobs, etc. to support himself and also had to look after his father. Usually he likes to learn some fighting skills, demon exorcism from his teacher, etc. Later, as he come across with the lotus lantern which is able to travel in time, and brought about a very touching story. Lu Xiao Feng is a person who's already known to be very strong in martial arts skills, full of righteousness and a suave swordsman. While Xiao Yuer is very playful and a prankster, very adorable, impish. I feel that they are all totally different kinds of feelings. Papi: Lately, all the serials you did are period shows. Why? Jimmy: I feel that now period dramas becoming more popular is a trend on TV and movies. i think there can be more changes in period drama as compared to modern dramas. There can be more boundless styles, flying here and there; humans, immortals, demons, all these can appear and the plot can also be very interesting. I think the audience would prefer watching period drama, so lately the serials I accepted are also period shows. |

| Jimmy, The Leader Of Entertainment After having the experience of working in China, this time going there again, he is well prepared. Health products, playstation, dancing mat, lap top and many other entertaining items, he had brought them all. Estimating that all his things weigh at least 100kg. Moreover he even rented a big refridgerator over there, enjoying cold drinks. Every night after work, Jimmy's room would become a place for everyone to gather, he said that sometimes, he would even put a notice at his door, stating the time and movies he's going to watch and those interested can just come in. And they all jokingly address him as 'Leader of Entertainment'. Filming in China, firstly, everyday's work schedule would be very tight. Secondly, there isn't much entertainment. Many actors had to find things to keep them occupied to pass time at night. From experience, so as to avoid feeling bored, Jimmy brought lots of things there, as a result he and his assistant had to carry several big and small lugguages. Other than his lap top, playstation, VCDs, photo printer, etc, and his other daily belongings. Filming in Heng Dian, there's about 4 to 5 filming groups rushing work and it's said that there's only one street in Heng Dian to shop. Actually, Jimmy felt like getting a car to drive around but it's not easy to find one since trishaw is the main transportation tool. When he return to Taiwan after months of not touching a car, he even forgotten how to reverse his car when parking, therefore after coming back, he would be busy practising it. |

| Roger Kwok And Jimmy As Father And Son Roger Kwok has promoted to become Jimmy's father! 'BLD' has let Jimmy gain some advantages. Under the arrangement of the plot, Jimmy had to call Roger 'Father' and Yu Li 'Mother'. Chen Ming Zhen had also become his 'aunt'. Jimmy said laughingly, "They have to act over their age. I didn't take advantage of them. Talking about how long being in this business, I don't lose out to them!" The father and son relationship between Roger and Jimmy have even stretched outside the scene. Even when they're not acting, Jimmy doesn't change his address and continued calling Roger 'Father', making him not knowing whether to laugh or cry. | Jimmy Addressed Yu Li "Mother" ?! In the serial 'BLD', Jimmy and Yu Li are mother and son. With the help from the powers of the lotus lantern, Jimmy went back into the past and future, seeing Yu Li with a big tummy and even placed his ear against it, trying to hear the sound of the foetus, thus creating lots of funny moments. In the story, Yu Li portrayed as a goddess, able to live forever and looked young always. No matter 20 years before or after, she will remain just as beautiful. She can only depend on the expression in her eyes, her body language and facial expression to display the feelings of a mother. Yu Li expressed, "This role is very challenging. In the serial, she has to part from her husband and son forever, with lots of emotional feelings. Acting in it is really a good experience." As the whole serial is filmed in Heng Dian, it's purely a place of sceneries and there is no other entertainment facilities. Jimmy had brought a whole pile of computer softwares and accessories there. After work, he would stay in his room surfing the net or playing computer games. Other than computers, it's car racing. Jimmy said smilingly, "No choice, I simply love car racing and computers, spending lots of time on them. But while I like them, of course it won't affect my work." |

| Jimmy Felt 'Favoured'? At the film set for 'BLD' in Heng Dian, Jimmy fans can be seen patrolling around everyday and even prepare sumptous meals for him which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper and even tea. About his costume, Jimmy smilingly said that without the need for him to wear the traditional wig for this period drama made him felt 'favoured', especially when seeing other fellow collegues who had to wear them and act under the hot sun, he felt very fortunate with his specially designed hat. In addition, the show with a time travelling plot is similar to the movie, 'Back To The Future', and he felt it's exciting to act in it. But having to work under such high temperatures and each wearing their thick costumes, anyone would want to scream for help. Fortunately, Jimmy specially rented a car where he can take a rest or a nap during filming breaks but it's also a haven for the actresses who are afraid of getting tan like Yu Li, Chen Ming Zhen, Vivi Ho and Echo Shen. Whenever they are not acting, the few of them would always go into the car, snacking out or chit chatting. Although filming far away in the deserted Heng Dian, fans still come regardless of the long distance and prepared meals for him which made the other collegues envious. Jimmy happily said, "There's a fan with talent in drawing and would come everyday to visit me and do drawings for me, saying that it's for me to bring back to Taiwan as a souvenir." |

| 'BLD' Cast Having Fun In Ken Ding 'BLD' was having its promotional activity in Ken Ding together with the viewers for a 2 day 1 night activity at the beach spot. Jimmy who had always like watersports, specially brought his diving licence and led the production crew and viewers to enjoy themselves on the beach. No matter if it's shooting paint guns, jet ski, beach bike or wind surfing, they tried them all. Even Chen Ming Zhen and Vivi Ho had a great time. Ken Ding is Jimmy's favourite beach spot in Taiwan. Every year, he would go there 5, 6 times. Therefore, Jimmy brought his fellow collegues to try the food and search for fun. At night, everyone started gathering for the BBQ and Jimmy led everyone to sing and the other celebrities also happily took turns to perform, and hit off well with the audience, creating a merry atmosphere. The next day, everyone were just intending to take a cruise on a yatch but when Jimmy saw someone dashing past in a speedboat, he began to feel an itch in him. Not a while later, he took off his clothes, put on a life jacket and got himself into a speedboat, dashing along the water surface. Jimmy has a way in controlling the boat, moving very freely and everyone were amazed. Asked about the difference between car and speedboat, he said, "Controlling a speedboat is even more exciting as there's no traffic lights like that on the road, but the technique is harder as you need to observe the wind direction and the water currents. Moreover, being envious of all the fun on the water, Vivi requested Jimmy to bring her along on the jet ski. But being light weight and unable to swim, she had also faced some hardship and drank mouthfuls of sea water. Due to a strong approaching wave which hit her off the jet, causing her to fall into the water. Fortunately, she had on a life jacket and Jimmy was present . He jumped into the water and brought her to safety. |

| Jimmy Lin, Time Travelling In The Ancient Times August 2000 At the same place, meeting the same person, just that it is already a year till now. Under the hot sun, walking along the street in Heng Dian, soon, I'm going to meet Jimmy. When I remembered 'Xiao Yuer' with his tattered clothings, and his playful appearance; 'Lu Xiao Feng' with his mustache which made him looked rather old; this time, how will Jimmy look when he appear in front of me later? Still the same old person By the time I saw Jimmy, it was already in the evening. He had just finished his outdoor scenes with filming group A and now transferred to group B. He's still the same, sitting at his chair next to the pier, concentrating on his script. Remembered last year at this time, while he was filming 'JDSJ', when I saw him, he was also sitting here, wearing the tattered costume of Xiao Yuer. Jimmy felt that acting it is very exciting. In the story, Jimmy's role has the impish characteristic of Xiao Yuer and also the maturity of Lu Xiao feng, and is also a very filial son towards his parents, having sensitive feelings. This role is very different from the other roles Jimmy used to play. But to Jimmy, acting as a filial son is no problem, especially to bring out the feelings between the father and son. In real life, Jimmy is already a filial son. Therefore, in this portrayal, he will treat Roger Kwok who act as his father like his own father, and bring out his graditude towards his father into the show. The scene that day was: Jimmy was running towards the pier from far, shouting for his father who was leaving in the boat to return back. As the camera was on the boat, mainly to capture Roger Kwok's expressionless face and Jimmy from far. But due to the wind direction, the little wooden boat wouldn't move in a straight line and Roger would block Jimmy from the camera. Jimmy knows how to control his own life; how he is able to portray his life to be more outstanding, therefore he is working hard towards it... Jimmy Current Events Jimmy is a 'Golden Brain' (literally translated), he has the knowledge towards handling money, therefore naturally, he also knows how to make more money. Lately the stockmarket is very bad, Jimmy acting according to circumstances has change his usual way of managing his finance. Now he change to half of it to investments and the other half is not to be touched. So in this way, even if there's a risk, he still have the other half of his savings. He also emphasised that his investments is very wide, not only in the stockmarket, it also includes his music albums, car racing, insurance and at the end of the year, there will be a new company coming up, but now, it's still not convenient to disclose yet. (Now that it's 2001, it's already known that the new company is a high-tech software company). About his favourite car racing sport, in early August, Jimmy's 'Esso Racing Team' was officially set up. This is a long sought after dream of his and now, it is finally fulfilled. For this, he spent 3 million to modify his car and Jimmy has 3 cars. (To be exact, now it's 4 with the addition of a SMART car as his 26th birthday present from his friends) Although he is still as busy as before where he can fly from Thailand to Shanghai and back to Taiwan within a week, shoot ads, serial and album recording and has no time at all to look after his own 'wife'. But now, with 20 over members in the racing team to take care of 'her' for Jimmy, he can continue his work with no worries. |
