Twenty Six Tears : The band was originally started by Reagan Kirkbride, who had been singer in a band called Reagan Cain. after touring in Germany Reagan Cain split up around 1999-2000. After that Reagan found a little place in a band called K-Oz Office playing violin and doing backing vocals. At about the same time she founded what was later to become 26 Tears. The music is a mishmash between Punk, Post- or After-Punk, early Electro, etc... and the ideas shift beween sadness, rage, and old horror B-movie images with a touch of humour. If you like to discover or re-discover good old 80s style Punk, Post-Punk and (good!) New-Wave, keep an ear open for Twenty Six Tears! |
