Her many friends in Escanaba and elsewhere will learn with regret that Mrs. Eliza Macdonald, widow of the late Lieut. Gov. Macdonald, died at the Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, whither she had gone for treatment, yesterday morning. The particulars concerning her demise is unknown at the time of going to press.
Mrs. Macdonald was universally esteemed by all who knew her, and her death will be greatly lamented.
