The purpose of The Louisville Civil War Round Table is to study all aspects of the American Civil War and to promote the interchange of knowledge about it. Our members' interests in the War between the States are varied and their knowledge ranges from elementary to expert.

Our activities include nine dinner meetings per year (SeptemberMay), a one-day Fall field trip, and a five-day Spring field trip. Our dinner meetings feature a speaker who discusses a Civil War topic. Our organization also makes an annual contribution to a Civil War preservation project.
