.2 Mary 'Polly' LITTLETON Mary was born about 1807 in Roane County, Tennessee. She died before 1868 in Roane County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Thomas LITTLETON and Mary 'Polly' MATLOCK. Mary married Robert STOW 10 September 1825 in Roane County, Tennessee.  He was born about 1803 in North Carolina. He was son of Solomon STOW Sr. and UNKNOWN.  He died before 1847 in Roane County, Tennessee.  Mary married (2) Hiram WILSON 26 January 1847 in Roane County, Tennessee.  Hiram died before 1850. There were no children from this marriage.

Robert F. Stowe Dies At Cedarville, Illinois Saturday Afternoon   
Robert F. Stowe age 78 passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Darvin Cox, in Cedarville, Illinois on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Mr. Stowe had been failing in health for several years and had become seriously ill in latter part of December. He had been making his home with his granddaughter for seven months.    Robert Franklin Stowe was born in Burnside, Illinois on Feburary 10,1869, the son of Solomon and Mathilda Jones Stowe. On November27, 1890 he was united in marriage to Hanna M. Huff at Burnside. Mr and Mrs Stowe followed the occupation of farming for  many years near Burnside. In 1925 Mr. Stowe and his family moved to a farm in East Galena township, Jo Davis County.  Mr. and Mrs. Stowe observed their 57th wedding anniversary last November.   Mr. Stowe is survived by his wife; one son,  Robert Harlan Stowe of Galena; one brother, John Stowe of Chiaholm, Minnesota; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, nine  brothers and sisters.   Mr. Stowe was removed from Cedarville, Illinois to Nash Funeral Chapel  in Galena where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon a 2:00 o'clock . Rev E.S. mathews, minister of the Church of The Nazarene will officate. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery, Galena.  Friends may call at the Nash Furneral Chapel. Funeral service for
Robert F. Stowe was held this afternoon from the Nash Funeral Chapel a 2 o'clock  Rev Mathrew's Church of Nazarene, officiated. The following friends acted as pallbearers, John Freeze, Joseph Hu**sc**r, Joseph Fellencer, Alvin Hammer, Charles Zeal, Leslle Harbin. Burial was made in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Frank Stowe Passes away This Morning
Mrs. Frank Stowe passed away at the Hazel Green hospital this morning at 11:20 o' clock.  Furneral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Nash Funeral Chapel at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be made in the family lot in Greenwood cemetery. The daily Gazette, Galena IL. Jan. 25,1949 Funeral Services To Be Held Thursday For Mrs. Robert F. Stowe.    Mrs. Robert F. Stowe age 80 years passed away at 11:20 o' clock Monday afternoon at the Hospital in Hazel Green, Wisconsin where she had been a patient for one day. Death result from pneumonia.  Hannah Minerva Huff was born on July 16, 1868 at St. Mary's , Illinois, the daughter of William Newton Huff and Mary Anne (Twaddle) Huff. She received her education in the St. Mary's schools and attended Knox Collage at Galesburg, Illinois. On November 25, 1888 she was united in marriage to Robert F. Stowe of Carthage, Illinois. They resided on a farm near Burnside for many years. Twenty four years ago she came to this county with her family and resided on a farm near Galena. Mrs. Stowe retained her membership in the Christian church at Burnside.  She is survived by her son Robert H. Stowe of Galena, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister Mrs. R. J. Mitchell of Rock Island,Ill.. Her parents, husband ( who passed away Jan. 17, 1948), and infant son and two sisters preceded her in death.   
The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Nash Funeral Chapel with Rev. Pe*r A. Henrichs, minster of the Hill Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Greenwood cementery, Galena.   Friends may call at the Nash Funeral Chapel.
