Project Profile This project is designed to integrate Mathematics, Social Studies, and Language Arts in students' journey to three countries. They are required to cyber travel Venezuela- Colombia-Brazil identify unique features of the cities they are visiting and or current new items, then create at least five math problems and solutions relating to the unique features and or new items they have identified. All six mathematics strands must be included in the problems. Other students will be assigned to solve the math problem. Learning Objectives Sunshine States Standards Curriculum Based Competency Classroom Management (Plan for Dealing with Limited Access). -One computer with internet access in a mathematics classroom. -In addition to the school lab the media- center has approximately ten operational computers with connectivity. -Students will work in cooperative groups of four or five students. -All students will have the opportunity to cyber travel. -All students will use real time data to calculate currency exchange rate, identify the weather on the datas of travel and check the closing of the stock market.
