The 2 pictures above are of Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. It has a 90 ft tower and is Oregon's tallest lighthouse. The light has been lit since 1873. Then it was lit up by oil burning wicks. Now it is lit by a 1000 watt globe. |

Coquille River Light. It was built along the Oregon coast in 1896. It had a 40 ft tower and a small fourth order lens. it was replaced by an automated beacon in 1939. |
