02/19/08 - Updated Car Transmission FAQ.

01/15/08 - Added a new FAQ in Section 1 - Car: "Car Transmission FAQ".

09/26/07 - Added a new FAQ in Section 1 - Tennis: "Tennis Watching FAQ". Also made some updates to the existing tennis faqs.

08/30/07 - Added new section: Section 1 - Info. Within that section, added new subsection "Tennis". There is a spreadsheet with detailed information about ATP and WTA players, stuff you will not find anywhere else like what types of grip positions each player uses and detailed strengths and weaknesses of each player in a variety of areas. Also, a couple of tennis FAQ's are available. Again, opinions on things that you will rarely find on the Internet or anywhere else.

01/30/07 - Added a new bardsong: Bard's Tale I, No.6 Lucklaran. Changed the "General MIDI compatible" header to "for Roland GS64" for Bardsongs II-3 and II-6. This is because the files just don't sound that good when played back using the Windows built in Roland software synth. You would't think that a single instrument, two track file would sound that different between synths, but it does, at least in my opinion. I'm continually surprised at why Roland chose to put their name on such a poor sounding patch set.

01/24/07 - Added a new bardsong: Bard's Tale I, No.5 Traveller's Tune.

06/26/05 - Digital OPL2 recording of the Future Wars title music is now available on the Future Wars page. Added a section to the Future Wars site documenting the OPL2 recording device.

06/25/05 - Updated Heretic #5 "Cathedral" MP3 with a much better quality file.

06/23/05 - Removed Section 1 to save disk space; hope you enjoyed it while it was up (all two or three of you)!. Updated the "B" MP3 in the Falcon 3.0 site. Now it has much better sound quality compared to the old one. Added links to Section 3 in the Falcon 3.0 and Heretic sites. Added update date info to Falcon 3.0 and Future Wars sites. Fixed broken link to Unexotica in Future Wars site. Added link to DeliPlayer in Future Wars site.

03/01/04 - The Bard Songs page in Section 3 is now part of "The Bard's Tale Webring". This is in addition to it being already a member of "The Bard's Inn" webring. Thanks to "The Bard's Tale Webring" ringmaster, who I believe is Tom Greene aka "cowgod", for accepting my site.
In the meantime, I have two new Bard's Tale I bardsong transcriptions waiting in the wings. So stay tuned.

02/16/04 - Added new bardsongs: II-No.3 "Sanctuary Score" and II-No.7 "Watchwood Melody".

06/02/03 - E. (aka) "Doc" has just built me a prototype board (based on Olli Niemitalo's Adlib-DigiSnap concept) to read off the digital audio data from OPL2 synthesizers.  The board has not yet been tested, but hopefully it works and within a week or two I'll have digital OPL2 recordings posted in Section 3.

11/14/02 - Got a message from Yahoo about a month ago that the website will be deleted soon if updates don't occur more frequently.

03/27/02 - Added a personal note on the Bard Song website, detailing what's NOT been happening and what should happen.

12/08/01 - Added descriptions to Future Wars selections.

12/04/01 - Added the Amiga Future Wars soundtrack archive in the Future Wars section; no longer have to go to UnExoticA to hunt for it.  Made the
archive into ZIP instead of LHA since Yahoo! doesn't take LHA for some reason.

12/03/01 - Added two selections in the Future Wars section.  More selections plus info on how the music was obtained coming soon.
Added a link in the Future Wars section to UnExoticA.  UnExoticA has soundtrack rips from a large number of Amiga games, including
Future Wars.

08/21/01 - The Bard Songs subsection of  Sec. 3 is now part of The Bard's Inn, a  newly formed Bard's Tale webring.  Special thanks to dadeleter, the ring
master, for starting the webring and for adding my site to it.

06/14/01 - Minor improvements.  Added as of yet empty  Future Wars music section with a very ambitious disclaimer.

06/05/01 - Removed the link in Sec. 4 since it no longer exists.  Welcome to the new server at www.oocities.org/lina402.

05/31/00 - Alright!  ADDED: Bard Tale II Song No. 6, Rhyme of Duotime.  UPDATED: Bard's Tale II Songs No. 2 and No. 4.  I noticed that some synths are not able to play two notes of the same pitch at the same time on the same channel, thus these couple of files were fixed.  Kinda dumb that certain synths are designed that way.

05/30/00 - Finally removed the "NEW" tag next to the music section on the main page.  For those of you wondering why there hasn't been much activity in the recent past, please be patient for a while as I am quite busy.  But rest assured, I'm working on new stuff.

05/16/00 - Finally found out that Dave Warhol composed the music for the PC version of Bard's Tale II.  Credited his name on the Bardsong page.  Who the hell is this guy anyway?  His compositions are astounding!

05/06/00 - Added bardsongs: III No. 1 and No. 7. Updated bardsongs: II. No. 1 and No. 2 (slight track delay problem). Coming up: hopefully a more assured version of bardsong I. No. 4.  This is among one of the toughest songs to transcribe because it has rare three part harmony and some really low notes.  All this coming out of the PC beeper makes it difficult to tell what the notes are.  But by no means is this one the toughest...

04/28/00 - A week ago, realized something that I should've done from the start.  The harpsichord really is the ideal instrument for most, if not all, of the bard songs.  Reason?  For one, it's "ancient" flavor fits the styles of nearly all the bard songs.  Second, and just as important, the attack, decay, and tonal characteristics of the harpsichord surprisingly resembles the original PC speaker sound that is utilized by so many of the bard songs.  Thus, I'll be slowly changing over the existing songs from whatever instruments they use now to harpsichord, and any future additions will be done the same way.  This makes for another cool thing, which is that when all the transcriptions are complete, there will be an entire harpsichord series ready to be "albumnized."  Maybe your can even learn how to play all of them on a real keyboard.
Oh, and yet another advantage is that while different MIDI synths disagree over most of the instruments, the harpsichord pretty much sounds ok on all the synths.

04/24/00 - Corrected some errors in the Bardsong pages. Namely, some "transcriptions" were wrongly labeled as "translations." The former takes forever to do, while the latter simply involves changing some MIDI parameters.

04/23/00 - Added: Bardsong II.No.4

04/13/00 - Added: Bardsong II.No.1 / Brand new Heretic music section
