SOMETHING NEW
WISCONSIN NAVARONE
SOMETHING NEW
Limited Pump Paintball is still dedicated to the spread of a game format other than the thousand ball per game standard which is sweeping the world. When you have to look forward to spending a hundred dollars for a day of recreational play, there's something wrong. When you have to worry about the guy with the 16 ball per second marker charging your position, and hosing you with the full capability of his gear, there's something wrong. Now, when you can bring new players into a game, have a great time, and not go broke doing it, there's something RIGHT!
******  LIMITED PUMP PAINTBALL NEWS  ******

* 10-29-08. Cleanup of the team roster a little.

* 10-17-08. OK, it seems time got away from me, and I've gone 7 months without any sort of update. Went to work at a marina, which folded this fall. Bummer of a deal... in spite of the job taking every weekend I've had the last couple summers, I REALLY enjoyed what I did. On the upside now, I have the opportunity to find something new that will make me happy, and maybe something that might allow me to have at least partial weekends for playing.

* 3-15-08. Did a little housekeeping on the front page here. PPIG seems to have vanished from the 'Net. If anyone knows where it's gone to, please let me know. **UPDATE - PPIG has been reitred. **

* 3-15-08. WI NAVARONE NEWS - Wisconsin Navarone (Jerry, Ethan, and Ben) travelled to The Siege Paintball in Mukwonago, WI (NEW LINK!) for a 3-man pump tournament on 3-8-08. We had a great time, and took 3rd place! OK, it was out of 3 teams that made it to the event, but the important thing is that we had a great time playing some very competative pump paintball. Results were:
1st place - Nelson Field
2nd place - Berzerkers
3rd place - Wisconsin Navarone

We'll try to do better our next time out!

* 2-16-08. So, life changes again. New job (again), with better pay, better hours, and better conditions.

* 3-6-07 Added a PDF form in the Third Party section. That way, I can be sure to get all the info I need when working your Third Party deals!

* Limited Pump Paintball is now offering Third Party Trading! Worried about sending your baby and getting ripped off? Not sure you're really going to get what you bartered for? We will do third party work here! Link is in the links section. NEW COST STRUCTURE!

* Looking for interested Midwest players for a few game ideas. First one is an old, old idea. Returning to the base of the game, running a setup like the first ever game. I can dredge up a place to play, just need a few insane people to play it. Idea 2 is a NO BATTERIES TOURNAMENT/EVENT. No batteries meaning not even agitating hoppers (and no, you can't get around it with air assist!). The idea is to have something where simplicity will be an advantage. Sorry, A-5 users, this also rules out the Cyclone feed, based on how and why it works, and it also counts out the Q-Loader. Now where did I leave that VL200? ** STILL LOOKING AT DOING THIS!! ** Also, looking at doing 100-ball events. One was successfully run June 2006 at Slammin' Salmon's field, and a good time was had by all.  Much as with the pump X-ball (by the way, a field in St Louis is doing a series of pump X-ball, and apparantly having a great time with it!), it would be nice if a well-established field in this area would put aside the profit-mentality for a day, and have some great fun.

LIMITED PUMP PAINTBALL RULES, 2008 EDITION

Due to the extreme lack of pump players in Wisconsin, the rules have been tweaked a little bit.
- Any marker is legal
- All markers will hold no more than 10 balls in the feed device, with the exception of 12-gram players. 12-gram players may use a 40 round ammo box if desired.
- Any air system is legal
- ALL SAFETY RULES OF PAINTBALL AND OF THE HOST FIELD WILL BE FOLLOWED!
Game Variant - Civil War Paintball
- All feed systems are to be removed. Feed tubes are to be taped over with electrical tape.
- All balls must be loaded one at a time, down the muzzle of the barrel.
- Scenario rules may change to allow for other weapons and props.
