I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and have a B.S in Business Education. I currently substitute teach and work part-time at a bank.
I am a Christian and feel very strongly about my faith. I am non-denominational (not tied down to one religion), as Christianity is not a religion, it's a way of life. I gave my life to Christ when I was 10-years old, and have a very close walk with the Lord. Although I am still a sinner, just like every other human being on this planet, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to earth to die for people just like you and me so that our sins (past, present, and future) would be forgiven if we were to accept Jesus as our Savior (John 3:16-22). We are saved by grace through faith in God (Ephesians 2:8-9). I am not perfect and will continue to sin until the day I die, but I strive toward obeying God and doing His will on this earth, knowing that one day I will achieve perfection when I reach Heaven. My hobbies are reading/writing fiction, designing webpages/MySpace, playing with my cat Daisy Mae, watching movies, listening to music, hanging out with my friends, playing cards and dominoes, and attending Broadway musicals. My biggest accomplishment has been writing a Christian novel, Gravity. This book was inspired to me back in high school as a short story and has evolved over the years through the gift of writing that the Lord has bestowed upon me. I am currently in the process of submitting proposals to publishing companies, as well as working on my second novel, Skeletons.
I guess one of the most common questions I get asked is why I'm still single. The answer is because God doesn't think we're ready to meet yet.
