Jim and Mel were married on Friday, April 12, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. in a private ceremony befitting a couple who have had plenty of publicity in the past several months. In the open air and sunshine they pledged their love for one another with family friend, Rev. Paul Schulter, officiating the ceremony. A reception is planned for the summer to celebrate their union.
I treasure you, my Precious One, for the rest of my life.
I give this ring to you as a symbol of our love, a reminder of the continuum of life itself
and a bond between us that can never be broken."
