Blend 32
Neni was born in Portsmouth, VA to Levi (USN, retired) and Helen (R.N.).
Her interest in music started when she joined the church choir at Citadel as an
alto.  She later took voice lessons from Fides Cuyugan Asencio who trained
her as a soprano.
Neni toured the Philippines, including the exotic Zamboanga City, with
Action Company, a Christian music drama team led by Steve Cadd.
Later , she joined the International Singers with Torchbearers and toured
India, Indonesia, Burma, Singapore and Sri Lanka. 
Neni was in the first Tagalog Christian movie "Anim ang Namatay"
produced by Christ for Greater Manila and also had a small role in
"Teresa".
In Houston, she was a member of  "Echoes of Praise", "Bagong Himig"
and is currently with the First Philippine Baptist Church chorale.
In addition to playing piano, guitar and recorder, Neni also dances
Ballroom and placed in the Texas Challenge in March 1990.
She studied Hawaiian dance (Hula) under Chiqui Hollmann and was
part of the Hawaiian numbers in the
Reycard Duet Concert at
Stafford Civic Center.
Neni is part of the Blend 32 Hawaiian Dance Troupe and has performed
at the Coat of Many Colors luau, the Tagalog Association's Tribute to the
Seniors ,People Helping People Luau and at the
APAHA Festival 2002.
