Doors to Diplomacy 2003

Doors to Diplomacy Logo

                                The U. S. Department of State is sponsoring the "Doors to Diplomacy" educational challenge - to encourage middle school and high school students around the world  to produce web projects that teach others about the importance of international affairs and diplomacy. Each student team member of the winning “Doors to Diplomacy” team receive a US$2,000 scholarship, and the winning coaches’ schools each receive a US$500 cash award. The State Department sponsors a trip to Washington, DC where the winners receive a private tour of the State Department facilities, meet with key officials, and participate in a special award presentation ceremony.  Our website was selected as a world finalist, placing us in second place globally and first in our category - leadership traits.

                       ATOM Awards 2003

The Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) sponsor a series of awards each year.  The award categories include Best Junior Multimedia and Best Educational Website.  Our website made it to the National Finals, placing us as runners up nationally.

 

                

                       Harold's Healthy Website Competition 2003

 Harold's Healthy Website Competition offers awards for young  website designers.  The awards will be drawn in December 2003.

2003 - 2004 Golden Web Awards

The Golden Web Awards is provided by the The International Association of Web Masters and Designers and is presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.

This competition had a emphasis on projects that could provide peace for the Australian people.  Our website was runner up in the under 16yo section.

 

Global Junior Challenge

The projects of this competition are aimed at realising Equal Opportunities between women and men in every sphere of their professional life.
The other two main topics of the Global Junior Challenge 2004 are: the fight against the Digital Divide and the innovative use of new technologies in education and training of youngsters.  This competition has not yet been judged.
