VRINSSEN BROUGHT TO JUSTICE AFTER 27 YEARS

A view of what should have happened. This infection on society should have seen the inside of a jail cell, or given to the public for restitution of his crimes

PROTECT OUR CHILDREN AGAINST PEOPLE LIKE HUBERTUS VRINSSEN

It is time to enforce a law that is continually abused by the likes of Hubertus Vrinssen

A child is not a toy, a child is not a sexual object, a child is is beginning of what lies ahead in our future.

Help protect our future and fight against Child Sexual Abuse.

In a few years, this story of Hubertus Vrinssen crimes will be forgotten by those that have not been effected personally by him.

This man has the ability, as do many others like him, to move on live a normal life.

This one man, single handily passed down a life sentence to his children and yet he has the option of walking free.

When will our laws acknowledge this and when will our laws except responsibility  for the leniency in these cases.

I have seen and heard of people sentenced to time in jail for less than what Hubertus Vrinssen did.

I pray for the day when a law is brought to life that offers a survivor of child sexual abuse more than just a guilty verdict.

I pray for the day that brings fear into those who believe it is their right to do this to a child.

I pray for the day that people like Hubertus Vrinssen walk the street are recognised by all and pay the true  price of their crimes.

Hubertus Vrinssen

Pleaded guilty for sexually abusing his daughters in 1973 and walks away with an 18 month suspended sentence.

When will our laws pass down an appropriate sentence for sex crimes and when will our laws start protecting the rights of children?

Hubertus Vrinssen is one of many that take it upon themselves to seek sexual gratification using a child.

His actions towards his daughters were nothing more than that of a selfish man overcoming sexual inadequacy.

I sympathise with his family and admire his children for coming forward.

What kind of a father would treat his child in a way that can only be described as disgusting and without moral?

This isn't a man, nor is it a father. This isn't even a person that is worthy or capable of contributing anything valuable into society.

A parent is suppose to protect their child against paedophiles, not become one.

This man broke the trust of his children, broke the laws of this country and remains to walk as a free man.

What right did Hubertus Vrinssen, have in doing this to a child?

What right did he have in breaking the trust of his daughters, replacing it with memories that will never be erased?

People like Hubertus Vrinssen are inadequate human beings. Selfish and destructive and do not value or respect others.

When reading an article like what appeared in The Advertiser concerning Hubertus Vrinssen, I am sickened that our laws protect and set free this kind of disease into our society.

When found guilty and more importantly, when a person admits to this kind of heinous crime, our laws should pass a life sentence like the one given to the victim.

People like Hubertus Vrinssen repulse me in every way imaginable and I can only hope that any relationship that he has or is in at this stage of his life is one without children.

Through the eyes of a mother AND A WIFE

I was unfortunate to have lived a life with a man like Hubertus Vrinssen, only difference was that it was NOT the father of my children that posed a threat to them.

I can not think of any reason why a woman would want to spend their life with such a man and hope that if there is a relationship or marriage to speak of, that it is reconsidered.

If you are in a relationship with someone like Hubertus Vrinssen, ask yourself this question:

"If this person can think and then carry out thoughts of sexually abusing a child, what else is this person capable of doing?"

We have choices in our lives and at times it's hard to make the right ones.

We also have an obligation to our children to protect and provide a safe environment for them.

If you are aware of a child that is suffering any form of abuse, it is your obligation to speak out and stop it.

Help fight against Child Sexual Abuse, don't let it happen!

On February the 4th 2000, Hubertus Vrinssen of Parafield Gardens, South Australia  pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent assault, symbolizing numerous other offences that he had committed against his two daughters in 1973.

Judge Francis Shelton in the Melbourne County Court gave Hubertus Vrinssen an 18th month suspended sentence, stating that Vrinssen's conduct was extremely disgusting and quite abhorrent.

Hubertus Vrinssen a disease on society.

On Sunday, the 15th of October 2000 an article appeared in another South Australian newspaper, The Sunday Mail written by Shane Maguire .

The story was one about a 14 year old girls plea to stop the evil act of child sexual abuse.

As she describes what she went through, her feelings and her thoughts on our so called justice system, you can't help but admire her strength and feel her pain.

Paedophilia, incest or what ever other name you want to give it,  is not something that only happens to the person next door.

Child Sexual Abuse is a problem that all of us should be concerned about as it COULD happen in YOUR family.

It is like a cancer, if it is not looked into and if the problem is not faced with radical action, it grows and it spreads; killing all that is good.

Hubertus Vrinssen and those alike are a cancer, spreading pain and heartache.
