And there came unto me one of the seven angels, which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither and I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is of the angel.

And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third a chalcedony; the fourth an emerald;

The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst,

And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

- Revelation 21:1-27

There is an old saying that a house divided against itself cannot stand. Not only a house, but also a Nation and for that matter a planet cannot exist in peace and harmony if the cells that make up the planet’s consciousness are constantly at war with each other. Nowhere is this as clearly demonstrated as in Israel, a Nation that has been touched by the Spirit of the living God, but has yet to discern that the path to the Father’s house is the path of love.

Israel is the home of one of the planet’s most active spiritual chakras. A spiritual chakra is an energy vortex that receives light directly from the Divine Spirit. The chakras are described in the Bible under various names such as the "Well of Median." The one in Israel is located directly under the Temple Mount. Any place that has an active chakra will be the recipient of higher spiritual frequencies that are meant to uplift and illuminate the soul. It is because of this that Israel has been the birthplace of three of the world’s major religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

What people fail to comprehend is that the spiritual frequencies that are capable of illuminating the soul, will also bring destruction to those who come in contact with this energy if they are not grounded in love. I remember years ago watching "Indiana Jones and the Last Cruscade." In this movie Indiana Jones goes in search of the Holy Grail. Hidden away in a mysterious cave is a fountain, which is guarded by a very ancient knight. On the wall over a fireplace there are several cups. One of these cups is the cup that belonged to Christ. The knight instructs Indiana Jones, and two other people who have followed him there, to choose a cup and to take a drink from the fountain of life – the Well of Median. One of the individuals chooses a lavish cup and drinks from the fountain. The knight informs the gentlemen that he did not choose wisely. Within seconds the man disintegrates. Indiana Jones chose a simple looking cup, which turned out to be the cup that belonged to Christ. Indiana filled the cup with water from the fountain, which he took to his wounded father who had been shot. The life giving waters of the spirit magically healed the bullet wound.

This wonderful story demonstrates quite clearly how the same energies that will bring life and bestow immortality on the righteous soul will destroy those who are not in harmony with God’s laws. So what laws are the people who live in Israel violating? The first and most important law is the commandment to "love thy neighbour as thyself" (Matthew 19:19). For years the people who inhabit Israel have been involved in an ongoing power struggle, which has at its heart the ownership of the planetary chakra located under the Temple Mount. The souls involved in this struggle don’t comprehend what it is that’s driving them, as the inhabitants of Israel are not even aware of the planetary chakra that is located under the Temple Mount, however, the Muslims and the Jews continue to struggle over who is the rightful heir of this sacred place and of Jerusalem, a city that was supposed to be dedicated to the Holy Spirit of the living God.

The fact that the formidable religion of Islam (some billion strong worldwide) has occupied the site of the Temple Mount for over 1,300 years, and that Israel is surrounded by powerful Islamic Nations bent on its destruction, has prevented the Jews from recovering this sacred Jewish site. This is still the reality today, despite the fact in 1967 Israel regained sovereignty over the site and could remove the Muslim presence at any time. However, the political pressure on Israel to keep the peace by international superpowers has kept Israel from exercising their rights. The reason for this is that a key resource vital to the world’s economy – oil – is held in abundance by Nations that are wholly Islamic.

When the newly declared State of Israel was under siege by seven Arab armies, an armistice in 1948 ended the conflict, but resulted in Jerusalem becoming a divided city. The eastern section of Jerusalem, with its Old City and the Temple Mount, was held by Jordan, one of the Nations that had participated in the attack. The terms of the armistice called for the Jews to have access to the Western Wall for worship, but Jordan denied this right and systematically destroyed fifty-eight of the Jewish synagogues in the Old City Jewish Quarter. Jordan also dismantled centuries-old Jewish cemeteries, using the gravestones as building materials for private homes and even for latrines. The result was that for the next 19 years, even though the Israelis shared the same city and were only hundreds of feet away from the Wall, they were strictly forbidden to come near it to utter even one prayer there.

When the State of Israel ended this intolerable situation by capturing East Jerusalem in the Six-Day War in 1967, it might have been expected that the previous two decades of Jordanian abuse and restrictions on Jewish holy places would have been repaid in kind, according to the law of the desert. But shortly after the city’s reunification, the Israeli Prime Minister, Levi Eshkol, and the Israeli Knesset passed a special law guaranteeing all the various religions – including Islam – free access to all the holy places. This law, known as the "Protection of Holy Places Law," prescribed punishment of seven years of imprisonment for "desecration or violation of a holy place" and five years of imprisonment to anyone who "violates the freedom of access to the members of the various religions." The implementation and regulation of the law has since been the jurisdiction of the Israeli Minister of Religious Affairs, who is supposed to maintain the equal access status for those whose religions hold these places as sacred. This has held true for the Western Wall even though it is still claimed by the Islamic Wakf as their possession. However, with the return of the jurisdiction of the Temple Mount to Islam, Jews were again strictly forbidden to have free access to their holy place, even though they had both passed a law guaranteeing it and restored the site to the Wakf as a gesture of peace.

Although I do not wish to paint the Muslims as the harbingers of discord, the fact remains that to this day the Muslims have refused to share the Temple Mount with the Jews who not only have as much right to worship on the Temple Mount as those of the Islamic faith, but who, since 1967, are actually the rightful owners of this sacred site. The world continues to watch this power struggle with horror. The obvious solution is for those of the Islamic faith, Christians and Jews to worship freely on the Temple Mount together. If this could be accomplished Israel would become a model of peace and goodwill that all peoples in every country could admire. But to use a Biblical phrase "these peoples hearts are hardened." They do not live in peace and do not seem capable of loving anyone. They continue to destroy not only their supposed enemies but also themselves. The hatred that is rampant in Jerusalem is not only killing its citizens it is also destroying the economy and their way of life. Such is the end result of living a life of hatred that violates the supreme law of love. The chaos and madness that dominates the lives of the Israelis and Muslims is negative karma that can only be transformed through love. If these people would wake up to the fact that there are no winners in their hate war then perhaps they could be saved, but if they continue on their present course they will be destroyed.

The holy Jerusalem that is described in The Book of Revelation is in existence today, but exists in a different dimension. It is not a physical city, but the home of the Divine Spirit or the Solar Christ. The wall that is described in The Book of Revelation is not a physical wall, but represents an octave or dimension that is only accessible to those individuals who have purified their souls and become one with their own Angel or Higher Self. The spirit body is made up of energy vortexes that resemble the planetary chakras. Presently the soul has seven chakras that function within the physical body; a transfigured soul has twelve. These chakras are closely related to the endocrine system. A more detailed explanation of the chakras that operate within the soul of man and of the planetary chakras is provided in The Mystical Keys to the Book of Revelation.

Esoteric spirituality teaches that man is actually a microcosmos based on the model of the macrocosmos. What this means is that God has fashioned man to be a receptacle for spiritual influences. The twelve angels that guard the gates to the new Jerusalem actually represent celestial influences. These influences have, throughout history, been depicted as the twelve signs of the zodiac: The Book of Revelation lists twelve precious stones as the foundation stones of the new Jerusalem and which are in fact the birthstones that have been affiliated with the zodiac. For those of you who find references to astrology hard to swallow, just understand that there are twelve angels who govern the earth and that are the embodiment of different spiritual forces. The planetary angels and their influence on the souls of mankind is discussed in detail in The Mystical Keys to the Book of Revelation.

The chakras are also described as gates in The Book of Revelation. This is an apt description as you must truly become attuned to the frequencies of the planetary chakras if you are to access higher states of consciousness. In order for the soul to evolve and pass through the gates that lead into the holy city, the soul must become unified with its Angel. This is accomplished once the spirit body, which is made up of 144,000 points of light, is activated. So what do we have to do in order to become one with our Higher Self and achieve immortality? We must purify our souls. The Book of Revelation states that all souls who defile others, who commit abominable acts, who spin webs of deceit, are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and thus will not enter the new octave and attain immortality. My own spiritual journey, which resulted in my unification with my Higher Self, is discussed in detail in The Mystical Keys to the Book of Revelation. The keys that the soul must assimilate in order to become unified with the Higher Self are revealed within the pages of this book.

It is God’s sincere desire that all souls awaken to the call of the spirit, however, each soul has to make the critical decision to follow the path of light, which requires inner work on one’s ego. I get letters from people from all walks of life who seek answers to the mysteries of metamorphosis. There are many who believe that all they have to do is go to church on Sunday, believe in Christ, and they will be saved. I would agree that believing in Christ is a good thing, but we must do more than just believe. We must love the Lord thy God – your Lord is your Higher Self – with all our hearts and dedicate our lives to the service of our Higher Self and to God. We must make an effort to purify ourselves so that we can become the worthy recipients of the life giving waters of the Holy Spirit. We can only achieve this through inner work. Christ made it abundantly clear that aspects of the human self had to be transmuted: "And if thy right eye offend thee pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell (St. Matthew 5:29-30)." The aspect of the self that Christ was referring to is the human ego. The processes involved in the psychological transformation of the ego are described in detail within the pages of The Mystical Keys to the Book of Revelation.

Clearly we cannot expect to get to heaven without putting some effort into it. For those who are truly seeking a life of spiritual fulfillment they will find that the light of truth will shine upon them and guide them to the inner sanctum where peace and revelatory information can be received from the Higher Self directly.
