This is the story of Pete Clarke and his dream of being a rock star drummer.  It all starts way back, back to 1989 when David Clarke (Petes older brother) got a drumset for Christmas...........

Wow, that almost made you think I was gonna tell you a story. Well, no, but I could tell you a little about myself.  I'm Pete Clarke the "drummer".  I play drums like a drunk mexican dirty sanchez on the hunt for an innocent victim. Anyway I grew up in a little  town called Clinton, IA. The town where the old people out- number the young.  I went to jefferson elementary (it was gay!) and I left.  I got homeschooled and the went to henry sabin, where I met Reese and A.J.  We where never really that good of friends untill like '98 but whatever. Anyway we finally got out of there and moved on to middle school.  I had been playing drums for a while then and was about to embark on the greatest adventure of my life, Mrs. Pardee.  But in all reality I still had a year to go before I got to her, but you get the point.  I played in Jazz band but quit because it sucked.  I had been in band since 5th grade, and i'm still in it (it's gay too).  I started being in a wrestling league (the KWF)
with Reese and A.J.;  My god it was stupid.  Anyway I got past pardee with a C and went to 8th grade.
I started hangin out with the "druggies" and "losers" and Reese and A.J. basically quit talking to me.  That by far was the most dumbass descison I'd ever made.  Anyway 8th grade sucked, and I barely got through it. Then I met a kid by the name of David Toepher.  David played the guitar good so I invited him over to play alot.  We started a band with my cousin Carl, who just recently learned to play the bass.  We had no singer but we played alot.  I got to high school and met a kid named Andy Schroeder.  We hit it off right away,  and he told me about his "band".  He was the singer and they played heavy metal.  So I convinced him to give us a try.  He came over and we played some songs and he was good (well good enough, he's improved).  He joined our band Nocturnal Emissions.  That was the coolest name I'd ever heard, but some damn 80's hair band had already taken it,  therefore we couldn't use it.  So one day we were listening to "Straight Up" the Snot tribute album and Brandon Boyd Sang the song "Divided".  So that became our new name.  We were the biggest poser metal band in the world.  But We played and we had fun.  Then out of nowhere we lost David, well actually we kicked him out caused he smoked to much pot.
Over the summer,  we went to a Blink 182 concert, well Andy and I at least.  We got to meet New Found Glory, and Mark Hoppus said "he loved us".  It was a turning point,  we switched to a punk band.  We had liked Blink 182 for a while and wanted to be a punk band.  So now that we were a punk band we needed a punk guitarist.  The first man that came to mind was Tom Vanderleist, or I think thats how you spell it.  We had Tom over and well he's not the greatest guitaris, so we told him to get better first.  Then Andy came up with the idea of Justin Cramer,  whom later became our next guitarist.  He was accepted right away.  So we became the band "Don Rever" we were awesome.  Then a young "Stud" Reese Petersen wanted to join our band.  I didn't think he would be as good as Justin so we said "we'll think about it".  Well turns out he is.  He is a prodigy (he made me write that).  He had started a little side project band called "Go Van Gogh".  With A.J. and no bass player,  they weren't even a band.  Well Reese finally accepted the offer and he joined our band.  Now our name is "Last Place" and we are awesome.
