KING STEVEN I ORDERS NEW UNIFORMS
Red Coats Shall Be Worn By All Union Troops In Washington
By: U.R. Lyon
Vienna, Virginia - A "senior" Union Royal Palace staffer has brought one of the purchase order copies bearing the Royal Seal of the Hanovers to this reporter. Independent inspection of the Royal Seal proves its authenticity.
The purchase order was sent to Great Britian to the manufacturers of the traditional red coat uniform complete with bear skin hat. The order was for 13,000 uniforms and was signed shortly after King Steven's coronation.
A Royal Proclaimation draft seen by the staffer, indicates that His Royal Highness requires officers and men defending Washington to wear the red coat uniform to clearly identify them as "soldiers of the Crown."

No News Coming Out Of North
By: I.M. Hungary
Centerville, Virginia - Travellers through this area have mentioned that there is more news south of the Potomac than north. Willam Jorgenson of Deluth said he hates what President Mathena has done to the South. He said, "When the Founding Fathers believed the tyranny of England to be too great, they revolted. Same with the Confederacy. Why was it alright for people from New England to break away from England, but not people from Virginia to break from Washington. Sounds odd to me."
Mr. Jorgenson then asked where he could volunteer for duty in the Army of Northern Virginia. This reporter gladly lead the way to the mustering station.
