The Louisiana Council of AORN Chapters, a non-profit organization, was formed in April 1993. We are composed of Louisiana AORN Chapters. AORN, INC, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, is a national, professional organization of registered perioperative nurses. This Association is dedicated to the constant endeavor of promoting the highest professional standards of perioperative nursing practice for the optimum care of the patient undergoing operative or other invasive procedures.
