April's visit to the Black Forest
to Main Page
Just a few pictures from the day April and I drove down to the Black Forest in Triberg, Germany and had a look around.
Click on any of these pictures to enlarge.
This is a castle we saw on the way.
A view of Triberg from the path we walked on.  With a castle showing through the trees.
I took this pictures of April sitting by the daffodils.  We were on our way through town.
Along the path on the way up to the top of the waterfall, we couldn't help stopping to take these pictures.
Another picture of April among the mossy rocks.
A man asked if we wanted him to take this picture.  I don't think April likes it, but I do.
Two views of the waterfall, one from further below and the other from near the top.  For anyone who didn't see similar pictures on my other pages, this is Germany's highest waterfall.
Inside the Church of Our Lady of the Pines in Triberg.  The alter area.
The organ in the same church.  It is over the doorway.
A pretty house we saw on the way back to town.  This style is called half-timbered.
