It didn't fall down!

When you are inside, the house still seems pretty normal ...until a construction crew starts whamming away on the foundation at 6:30 in the morning!

Here's a close-up of the cribbing holding everything up.


Good news! It's going faster and more smoothly than they expected! That means they're cutting the water and septic pipes tomorrow instead of Monday, so we'll be moving into Rutland tomorrow night. Don't worry, though. We'll still be here every day to take care of the horses and photograph our progress for you.

Also, the builders thought they would need to cut the electricity for a week or two, until the addition was framed and ready for a breaker box. They've now decided on a way to do it with only a couple of hours outage.
