After a week of rain...

Things got off to a slow start this week because of heavy rain. Worse, it frustrated the crew by pouring harder every time they thought they had a break and started work. My car got stuck in the mud in the front yard Wednesday night, so I was in no mood for photography even if there was something for you to see. Despite it all, the floor joists and sub flooring are finished on the new addition. The "roof" of what you see here is entirely sheeted over with plywood, which will become the floor of the new bedroom, bath, and office.


Now that there's cover, they can pour the cement floor on Monday or Tuesday. Things should move quickly after that.

Next
