Latticework and new porch light...
The most visible addition is the new latticework...
But there are some other things as well. Below is the new porch light. We'll have these over the four exterior doors and the two garage doors.
There's also been a lot of finish work around the ceiling (note the new siding rather than the exposed plywood).
Below, we've added some convenient steps on the North side of the porch, and the railings are up. (The cats have adopted the railings as their favorite new sleeping place, a handy perch to watch for fat rodents.)
In the next few days there will be vertical balusters under the railings, and everything will be painted white.
