Over 12 years of experience in the Electronics/Metrology field including four years experience as an instructor/developer.

Professional Achievements
  • Developed curriculum to support operator and maintenance training fro general-purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE).

    During this time I pursued a secondary career as a cook and baker. Duties included Safety Team Member for a Guest Ranch and Golf Course, responsible for safety inspections in all aspects of the operation. I was the manager of a convienence store, supervising 4 employees, responsible for large sums of money, making grocery and gasoline orders.

    Instructional Developer
    TSM CORPORATION, Bartlett, TN
    Developed curriculum to support operator and maintenance training for general purpose electronic test eqipment (GPETE). Prepared the scientific and technical report summary, documenting fault insertion devices for the technical training equipment. The course was developed to support field calibration activity (FCA)/ fleet electronic calibration laboratory (FECL). Upon completing the development effort, presented the course to a cadre of Navy instructors at the Fleet Training Center, Norfolk, VA. All material was developed to MIL-STD-001379C.

    Responsibilities included subject matter expert for the Microwave Clibration Course, writing lesson plans, updating course materials and instructing Navy, Marine and Civilian personel in both Advanced Electronic/Electrical Calibration and Advanced Microwave Calibration. During this time I was promoted to E-6.

    Resonsibilities included work center supervisor, repair/calibration of genreal purpose electronic test equipment distinctive to communications an submarine service, damage control petty officer, and a driver responsible for pick-up and delivery of electronic equipment to the whole San Francisco Bay Area. During this period I was responsible for supervising 3 persons. I drew up maintenance schedules adn conducted quality control inspections. I also filled in as Division Officer supervising 10 persons during our Division Officer's absence. Received a letter of commendation from the Commanding Officer of USS Enterprise for duties performed during an overseas cruise. During this period I was promoted to E-5.
